- We're back with another Madden 24 Rebuild and this time it's a Brock Bowers Las Vegas Raiders Rebuild where The Raiders seemingly (for the first 2 picks at least) chose the highest player on their board and will need to find a way to get the most out of Bowers and Mayer on the same offense.

Raiders fan here, this was probably the best draft we've had in a while...once Penix went to ATL the other QBs would be a reach why not build the rest of your roster up instead of waste a pick on a backup
I get that but why not use a pick in the 4th round? Even into the 3rd it's pretty hit or miss anyways.
@@JeromepkrBecause Minshew is the clear bridge starter, O’Connell is a clear back up level prospect. The QB they would have taken this year would likely not get a chance to start behind those two and if the Raiders are planning to take a QB next year it just ends up as a wasted pick

Minshew is honestly really underated when you look at his numbers when hes gotten the chance to start and in college. Will be the next best thing, probably not but could he be a good QB I think he already is.

Raiders fan, happy with the draft actually. I believe that none of the available quarterbacks were better than the guys we have. Both qbs had their teams fighting for the playoffs last year, so I’ll take the competition between them over some mid rookie

I use the Raiders O-playbook in my fantasy draft league(s), because I like it for actually playing the games. A couple of seasons I've simmed the entire season, granted the teams stacked, they get 12-15 wins consistently. Sim is not kind to passing stats tho, at best its 15th, usually in the mid 20s; even with 99ovr QB with good weapons. But its been absolutely killer for the running stats (at least with a powerback) been number one consistently. It ain't as sexy as some other 'not sim broken' o-playbooks, but don't sleep on the Raiders playbook :)
After seeing Daniel Jones throw for 60 TDs I can confirm this is indeed not Bears Online 32 User Franchise
AIden was decent last year, he was a late round pick it takes time to develop.

As a Raider fan, the only QB in the draft I liked more than any we have on roster was Jayden Daniels and it would have cost way to much to move up for him!! 6 QB’s were drafted before the Raiders at pick 13, not 5 Jerome.. Williams, Daniels, Maye, Penix, McCarthy & Nix

Doing an eagles one of these would be interesting because if both corners play out like they could it could help create a new powerhouse on defense. Mitchell and Dejean could be elite

As a long time Raider fan, I like Minshew as a high upside bridge. I’m happy with our draft and I’m excited to see some 2 TE sets this upcoming year.

@@ZachWilson1 it’s not that I don’t, I just haven’t seen a lot from him. Now, I do understand trying to navigate last year was hectic for all parties. If he steps out as the starter, considering how highly I think if Minshew, I think it’s because he’s going to be a capable producer for our team.

@@Jeromepkr you’re right but they’re pretty sold on AOC as a legit backup/short term starter . They have Gardner Minshew and AOC competing for the starting job. We won’t be great next year, so maybe we get our answer at QB in 2025
As a Raider fan, you werent going to get a better QB in the 3rd round and beyond than what is on the roster currently. Build the roster, hope minshew and play average and go in on QB next year. The last thing us Raider fans want is to be stuck with a Meh QB like Derek Carr for another 10 years because a mid round pick plays decent enough to stick around lol

Drafting a qb just to draft a qb is extremely dumb. We didnt need a backup, there are no starter level talent after nix. Drafting a qb like that almost never works out unless youre purdy
