as a kid i had a Yamaha metallic purple, red crash & chrome hi- hat snare was silverish, playing every day for two years never broke any skin , dampened the kick drum single paddle only with a foam mattress

The kit would sound a thousand times better with new heads, new tuning, new cymbals, adjust snare wires, and new beater plus muffling in the kick. But its a beginner kit soooooo yea

If I could sit behind the first kit I ever bought (82ish CB700 concert tom kit, crazy big) I would ball my eyes out first.Black dot heads.....ugh. Those where the days.

First i have to say that kit sounds so cool! Love the vintage vibe i Get from it! And in a weird way it makes me feel better about my own first kit, i just bought my first e kit and really first professional drum kit but I sometimes feel a bit embarrassed cause itâs âjustâ a Yamaha dd-65 drum pad set , much like this kit it has a limitation of 3 cymbals or really 4 but I use SD3 as a program and there u can get a sidestick effect so I usually use the last cymbal space for that, my pedals are crappy so I skip hi hats and I have my kick on the pad where the floor Tom should be đđ I kind of like it as well since it makes the setup a bit unique but yeah sometimes I feel a bit embarrassed when I have to ask questions (itâs been a lot of that lately) about midi and stuff cause i have to say what kit I use and almost no one uses that, but Iâm just in my 20s still living home so I donât have space for a big kit đ and with superior drummer 3 it sounds like a million dollar kit! As usha says: itâs simple and smart

2:22 i think i once had that same exact snare drum..... my family got me my first drum in chrisrtmas 2015, and then i got a whole drum kit, which had a snare so my dad sold it. if anyone knows its brand, could you tell me by just replying to this comment.
