If you don't mind sharing some of your secrets with us can you tell me how you do your carpet and sometimes the fabric on the dash etc. Thanks and thanks for another great video 📹 I'm always looking for your videos your cars are awesome 😊
He either used some clear coats or vinyl glue and put on some flocking using a tea strainer to sparse it evenly on it while it was still wet and then let it dry, or he used some adhesive carpets that he cut creating a mold with masking tape before ( there are some pre-cuts already available, but you can save some money if you buy it in sheets online, like the fake velvet is perfect for that). 🙂
Thanks for your visiting Phillip! For the carpet on the floor I always use “3M Micropore” it’s very easy to use and for the dash I use texture paint by mixing a bit baby powder into the paint and spray it by 0.5 mm. airbrush.

Amazing work. Again! I've seen you do this on some other builds too. What is the purpose of marking those edges with the sharpie before you sanded with the 600 grit sponge?
Thanks again too! The sharpie act as an indicator to told me that the mold line is gone yet and prevent me to over do sanding.

Not the best but much more better than my first Meng’s model kit built.
What sander did you use for the mould lines?
I think it's a Proxxon sander, I have some of their tools, and they all come in the same green plastic. Hope this helps.

Why do you blow air through the paint in your airbrush?
It’s another way of mixing the paint and thinner before application as I understand it.

What steps did you mention?
Unless I missed it, I didn’t see any engine parts, which means I would not buy it. Not to take anything from the kits’ amazing detail and I assume fitment. Meng appears to make a beautiful product, and you did a beautiful job with it, especially the color, BUT, I DESPISE curbside kits.
