Y’all seemed to like the first part (check it out if you haven’t) so I decided to do a second part to showcase how pick me Bloom can be in pretty much every time she’s shown on screen and I oop-

The first seasons of the show were written by italian boomers that abhorred technologies in the early 2000s Italy was starting to see the rise of the internet and they probably wanted to encourage kids to go outside and interact I guess

Facts, Bloom already had her moment with Valtor, it would've made sense for Aisha to get her revenge in S5 or even S4 since in both seasons she lost the most
@@Archangel_Princess it would've been nice to see bloomtake a back seat for once and realise that despite having the dragon flame in certain environments it's HOW you use it and it might not be able to be used in certain environments either really cold or sea/humid environment. That would've been great to blame her out.

Honestly if the season ended with bloom not getting her enchantix and getting it in the movie it would have made more sense. BECAUSE EXPLAIN HOW YOU FORCE YOURSELF INTO IT??? Like is there a glitch in enchantix? It clearly states you need to save someone from your home world? So how do you get around it
Respect for Season 2 especially episode 15 that is the only episode when Bloom didn't had a single line.
Until they made that special end credit scene for the RAI dub to make up for it 😂

I lost it when she kicked Roxy out of the team in Season 5.
That one time when Roxy said she doesn't trust Jim and Bloom did, and in the end of the season Jim turned out to be a meanie (WOW season 2.)

I think that Roxy didn't get butterflix because she didn't get her enchantix yet, and you probbly need to be a "full-fledged fairy" to get bonus transformations after enchantix.

I love Roxy but I never understood why did the fans want her to be a new add to the team. Her formation as a fairy is incomplete, she can't be part of an elite team with each fairy being the strongest of her planet, being the fairy guardians of the the universe with more than 3 transformations achieved. Roxy is still a rookie and I remember during season 5 that she joined Alfea to study, so how tf do yall want her on the team when shes still in school. And tbh she wasnt gonna be of any valuable addition to the team. I agree that she had a lot of screentime stolen from her in season 4 but she was just supposed to be a side character in the show. The other girls are so far up advanced compared to her and she wouldvr done nothing but slow the team down.

Yea the ones that actually didn't get that much time together was Musa and Riven, and when they did they were either fighting or being a genuinely good couple, there's never an in-between for them. Oh and Aisha who had her fiance get killed, RIP Nabu.

It's funny in a way, technically the show IS about bloom, but sometimes you just need a refreshment is something different. Especially when a lot of the other characters are way more likeable. And some scenes I feel they were trying to give her more of a personality, like her teasing techna with her gadgets, but those were some attitudes that I feel were more fitted for musa, or Aisha who both have a more forward spunky personality
The show isn't JUST about Bloom and that's what the writers seem to forget.
They chose to have SIX main characters, but it is ALWAYS about her in some way shape or form 🙄.
@@susanbones3381 in season 1 and 2 it kind of was. You knew she was the star of the show but her friends shaped that world and made it more broder. She may be the star, but the show doesn't revolve around her. Further within seasons they began giving even more scenes to her friends before later on revolving it solely around bloom again.
@@-Secret Season 1 works really well from her perspective I agree. The audience is introduced to this new world through a character just as new to it as we are.
But as you said it always revolves around her. I would have liked it much better if they had chosen a different girl as the focus point for each season. That gives them material for seven seasons (if we include Roxy). Season 2 where the antagonist literally calls himself SHADOW Phoenix could have been about Stella. We could have seen her dealing with her parents' divorce, her responsibilities as crown princess of Solaria (especially in times of crisis) and juggling that with school, friendships, her relationship with Brandon and saving the world. Her relationship with Brandon in particular has serious potential. First off the whole identity switch (I wish that was adressed more in the actual show, with both ships involved), then they come from different soical standings (Brandon as a squire and commoner, Stella as the sole heir to the Solarian throne), again Stella's responsibilities as princess (would the future queen really be allowed to date/maybe someday marry someone of "low birth") and the added possibility of parental disapproval. Bloom and Layla don't really have that problem, Bloom and Sky are both royalty (plus with Daphne restored she is not the heir to the throne) and Layla/Aisha literally falls in love with the person her parents picked out for her. (I'm still not sure about Nex or Roy. Nabu is definately my favourite, I still wish they hadn't killed him off.)
You can't tell me that season 5 WASN'T written for Layla/Aisha as the central character. The whole thing starts on her home planet, water is her element and the antagonist is HER FREAKING COUSIN. Why give the final fight to Bloom? Aside from that they could have shown her coming to terms with the loss of Nabu (I wasn't a fan of them already pushing her into another relationship by the next season), her royal responsibilities as well (a good opportunity to explore cultural differences).
On top of the above mentioned things focussing more equally on the other characters could have been a great oportunity to explore the Magic Dimension in greater detail. We barely get to see anything outside of Magix. Not even Magix, we barely get to see anything outside of Alfea.
Or flesh out the boys a bit more. Sky is the only one we get even a smidge of backstory from. And that's just because he's Blooms love interest.
But the show's targeted towards kids, maybe I'm looking at this too much from a mid-20s perspective 🤷♀️
@@susanbones3381 I 100% agree. If they took the other seasons and focused them around the other girls it would have been a nice take on the group and not bloom as queen bee all of the time. Because weirdly enough we are given the impression that the other girls matter to a degree, but not enough to where they are being treated like they mean something in the story. And you're right they did give Aisha an entire back story. Though I do believe that was maybe to get people more used to her? Plus for a while out of all the girls she was the only one who didn't have a boyfriend, so I think that was one of the reasons she got a moment. Especially when they decided to change her boyfriend for whatever reason, I think they needed an excuse. I don't know why he was changed, and in truth I kind of didn't care unfortunately who she got with. I do feel for me personally that the new guy she ended up with was a nice compliment to her, but that's just me. Either way I would have been fine with whatever guy they chose for her. But I do agree that the girls should have all had seasons about them. I think the best example I can think of is my little pony. You know twilight is the main character, but you're never once feeling as if she's the only thing that matters and that the world revolves around her. Her friends serve an actual purpose. Plus all of the characters are likable.
@susanbones3381 I agree with you, in my opinion each season should have focused on each girl, it could have been like this:
• Season 1 with Bloom as the main character (because she is as you said "new to the world as we (the audience) are")
• Season 2 with Musa as the main character (because in this season in episode 15 she had the whole screen time for her, and we got to know more about her past)
• Season 3 with Tecna as the main character (because of her sacrifice [as you already mentioned])
• Season 4 with Roxy as the main character (because she was introduced in this season, and the entire story of this season revolves around earth fairies, and who is the last earth fairy? Roxy!)
• Season 5 with Layla/Aisha as the main character (because the transformation Sirenix is water-themed, and the main villain is her cousin, and the story of the season revolves around her family)
• Season 6 with Daphne as the main character (because she got married in this season, also because she is way older than the Winx and so she has knowledge about history and mystical creates which fits with the overall theme of this season)
• Season 7 with Flora as the main character (because the transformation Butterflix is nature-themed, and about these fairy animals)
• Season 8 with Stella as the main character (because the transformation Cosmix is star-themed, and she is the fairy of "the shining sun" and we all know that the sun is a star)
But instead, it was like this:
• Season 1 with Bloom as the main character (because it's the first season and we want to get to know her and her storyline)
• Season 2 with Bloom as the main character (because we still didn't finish her storyline)
• Season 3 with Bloom as the main character (because her storyline should come to an end)
• Season 4 with Bloom as the main character (for no valid reason except that the story of this season takes place in the planet she was raised in)
• Season 5 with Bloom as the main character (for valid reason)
• Season 6 with Bloom as the main character (for valid reason)
• Season 7 with Bloom as the main character (for valid reason)
• Season 8 with Bloom as the main character (for valid reason except that maybe because the villain of season 3 is back)

I was so happy when in season 4 the focus finally shifted to another, much more interesting character. I rlly rlly liked Roxy as the main character, she's so bitchy, but this is what attracted her, while she is also kind and gentle, but not too sociable. In the end, they forgot about her and merged her character))))9)9)))
I guess the producers kept making her mention Domino over and over again as a reminder since this show is targeted towards kids and they must think kids have the memory capacity of a gold fish or something but damn just imagine how annoying she'd be irl like shut up girl we get it. I remember even as a kid thinking she was so bossy and annoying like she always made everything about being adopted, her planet or Sky.
I'm also still bitter that they didn't let Roxy become a main 💀
The og winx should have ended at season 4. Season 5-8 can be flashbacks to the past eg on the history of Domino and in detail about other planets and the company of light or into the future with a new winx team. With Roxy as its leader.
If Bloom was a real life character I would have definitely put her in her place. She deserves to be taught a lesson. I honestly like Diaspro over her.

@@aeoligarlic4024 Well, since Harmonix they started drawing full dresses where their belly buttons don't show. Probably either because:
1. Not to be oversexualised.
2. In the early 2000s that trend was more popular but kinda died out in the 2010s like Bloom's bell bottom pants or Musa's tomboyish hip-hop top and saggy jeans from S.1.
They tried also to mix Ever After High with World of Winx artstyle but seems they will go back to the OG artstyle (or at least similar to it) in the reboot.
It's like the Ben 10 reboot over again, history is repeating. Ben 10 Omniverse was hated because of the artstyle even though it's still considered the last good Ben 10 that was the continuation of the story. And seems S.8 will be the last season too because the new one looks like a total reboot.
Especially the leaked Charmix outfits (which are literally swapped like Stella wears Bloom's outfit, and Bloom wears Stella's outfit). Flora looks kinda like her Mythix dress while the others are still a bit of mystery how they will be done but we'll see them this September (perhaps)?

The early seasons idk if I'd necessarily agree on that fact that she's stealing screentime cuz the story was mainly focusing on her. After a point tho it did become about the Winx as a whole and not just Bloom. I agree with her bringing up Domino so much in season 3 tho. I never even noticed that before. Like, we get it. Honestly, I feel it's really egregious from season 4 and on. Like, why did Bloom go against Diana in season 4? Um, hello??? We have the literal FAIRY OF NATURE in the main group! And in season 5! Why, oh WHY in God's name was it her that went with Nereus to defeat Tritannus when he is LITERALLY AISHA'S COUSIN THAT HAS BEEN TARGETING HER MOST OF THE SEASON.
