Though I'm not a reapplicant, I still enjoyed watching this video as always. Thank you!

What if you applied very late in the cycle and did not get the financial aid you needed? Would you address that in your reapplication? The idea is that reapplying much earlier may help your chances of scoring more financial aid.

I was wondering what the perspectives of an admissions officer would be for a reapplicant who was previously accepted. This is a very interesting insight. When you said "I wouldn't want to go through that again", it made me realize this has a real impact on the other end.
How would you recommend someone addressing this? I don't imagine there is an optional addenda for such a niche thing.

You should definitely address that in an addendum-you don’t need a specific invitation from the school to do so. If possible, explain nicely why you didn’t accept their offer the first time and explain why you are worth taking a chance on again.

I am thinking about applying a year or two before I really intend to go to law school, basically to see where I stand and get a head start on application materials (also tapping professors for LoRs while they still remember me). Is there any value to this idea or would I be wasting my money?
These videos are super helpful coming from an admissions dean; the process is so chaotic with information coming from so many different directions.

General wisdom is-apply in the year you intend to enroll! There is no guarantee that a school will defer you, and no guarantee that if it does defer you, it will also defer your financial aid award. Applying in the year you intend to enroll also enables you to present yourself with the additional experience you will gain during that time period, making you a stronger candidate.

Will law schools check to see if you applied for undergrad? What if you did not accept an admissions offer for undergrad because you received a larger financial aid award at another undergrad school? I let the first school know I could not attend because of financial concerns. Would this affect my chances at getting into their law school?

What if you apply and are accepted and don't do well because of personal reasons but decide to reapply years later? How about that scenario?

I’ve always hated the title of the show “13 Reasons Why” because of this error. Lol

I’m applying to Michigan Law School. The reason is because I really want to go there. 😅😂
