pixel 7 pro owner here, and a very long time subscriber too....but really didn't learn much new...may be because i already knew those.....but indeed an exhaustive overview of everything one needs to know. beginners will really appreciate it.....perhaps a suggestion for more pixel videos if i may- compatible gimbals and lenses....lenses for p7pro are almost nil i think- because of the camera bump...you may be able to talk to others in the industry and find out more details on this which we consumers never can...please do...

I have a Pixel 7 pro and decided to get the iSteady M6 after viewing one of your review.
Q. Do you disable the 7Pro stabilization when you use a gimbal?
No, you don’t need to disable the stabilization. It will be just fine.
Im using pixel 7 pro with filmicpro and I have to admit that I hoped more.
1. Pixel has huge problem with overheating. In 30 degrees You have to often turn it off to cool it down.
2. It has noise issue with ultra wide lenses and wide lenses in dark scenery. Im using it very rare.
Filmic pro can help with manual iso setting.
Native camera app could record with higer bitrate.
Still it is good camera concerning its price.
Hope pixel 8 or 9 will be better with heat mamagement.

It doesn't show in your video but if i am in settings under video 4k,60fps, before the turned off options for 10 bit and speech enhancement, it macro choices, auto, on, off.
What would you recommend for this setting at 60 pfs?
Hm… it is really up to what you are filming. I usually have macro off if I feel that the camera changes lenses as I am filming. Otherwise I leave it on… best wishes
Great video, currently looking at upgrading from my iPhone 11 Pro Max, tempted by Pixel Phones as I hate Apples UX, is the video quality as good as everyone says? Does Filmic pro integrate well?
The picture quality is good, but I find that some features such as portrait mode. For example, is not that great. You get more options with the Samsung galaxy line of phones

Thank you once again. Your tutorial will now encourage me to make better use of native features of standard camera app (Pixel 7 Pro). Am I correct is assuming that the Hohem MT2 is overkill for the Pixel 7 Pro? Regards.
If you need gimbal only for smartphone then M6. If you need to use mirrorless camera then MT2 … they are basically the same. M6 is way easier to balance

M6 can handle more weight… V2 is just for simple filming

Can you tell me what video settings i should have on my iphone 13 pro max? I record a clear perfect video then edit it and it looks perfect, then after it's uploaded to youtube, it comes out looking terrible. I video at 1080/30 and my video quality is set at Highest picture quality (i have unlimited data), should it be Auto picture quality?...one last question, why is my video so bad when uploaded?
You have correct settings. I am not sure why CZcams would lower the quality sorry…

I was hoping you would show how to create a video that would be paused several times to allow you to create scenes of what you are recording in one video instead of several separate videos. I'm trying to make an instructional video about growing microgreens, where I would shoot a short scene of sowing the seeds, then another scene of watering and caring for the seedlings, then go to another scene of the finished crop ready to harvest, then a final scene on harvesting and packaging. Then how to edit this video to take out frames that you didn't want in the final video.

Have a Pixel 7 pro ,So far I can't get two combined more than one video clip.....
Example; I combined two video clips of 50 seconds each. It only show no more than 20 seconds.
So far haven't found a video on you tube that goes into details.

is 10-bit HDR easier to color grade in post, or harder? The answer to that question will determine if I record in 60 FPS because 60 FPS wouldn't be strictly necessary for my projects but I have plenty of storage and would like the option IF it doesn't make color grading harder
To be honest for me, it is a little bit harder…. I will suggest just do a test and see if you can handle the colour grading.

Hello, do you know how to merge two videos in photos app? When i tried with other apps like inshot the result was terrible, more specifically the colours were changed dramatically, i bought it for making content 6 months before and I still can't figure it out. Disappointing 😢

Mna by zaujimalo uprednostnenie H264 AVC kodeku pred H265 HEVC kodekom, ma to nejake realne odovodnenie ci len podla toho ze vacsia velkost videa = vacsia kvalita ? pretoze nemyslim si ze pri tomto je to pravidlom ked pri rovnakom bitrate ma HEVC kodek zachovanych omnoho viac detailov v obraze.
Tam skoro žádný rozdíl není vůbec to není vidět. Je to jenom kvůli velikosti

Well this is hard to answer. iPhone is the easiest and has all features I need but Google has better picture and Samsung has unlimited options… this is how I see it

These phones suck for editing,only thing I can seem to do is trim. How do you edit certain frames out of the video?? If I have to pay for apps to do so then it's worthless to say you can edit

I was not happy. My pixel 7 is new for me and I had the settings on 30 frames/s . All my holiday movies are with these settings. But my computer can't open it 😕

Turns off 10-bit HDR for a more natural look. Yet 10-bit HDR is intended to increase realism 😂 sounds like a poor implementation by Google
