As a girl who shaved her head about 6 months ago at this point and for and felt similar things to do as doing it, I want to let you know this: you may end up not loving it and that’s okay. You may find that you are more confident with hair and you will get excited with every tiny hair growth milestone. But, you will always be proud of yourself for trying it and not letting the ideas of fear stop you. You will feel prettier on some days vs others. It’s okay if you don’t like it. But don’t regret this because you just did a badass move and should be proud of yourself :)

Men can have short hair with every headshape or facial features, bodyweight etc. and nobody comments about this, but if a woman has short hair or a buzzcut everybody needs to share their fu**ing opinion about that.
Like ... you need to be tall, slim, even head shape, sharp facial features ... no you just need to be human. And others should learn to keep their opinion to themselves if nobody asked for it.

Exactly! I shaved my head about 3 years ago kept it that way for 9 months. Now it’s a super short pixie. I got SO MUCH shit from old men some of them complete strangers. I also got compliments on it from guys also some complete strangers. It seems people either love it or hate it but either way it’s none of their business.

I love how real you’re being. Regret is normal! I was so scared as I shaved my head the first time and I ended up loving it so much I kept it for 3 months. brock charz you literally post the same comment in every video of a girl shaving/cutting her hair short 😭 what you aren’t taking into account though is that if someone’s boyfriend did that to their hair they’d already have long hair... like I actually don’t think it’s possible to put extensions in unless your hair is already fairly long, so the boyfriend would already have like at least shoulder length hair? Also it’s his hair and he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do, if I had a boyfriend and he did that I’d be like that’s fecking awesome! I’d probably only be annoyed that I didn’t get to watch the transformation of it. I don’t get what point you’re trying to make but your unoriginal copy and pasted comment is really not making the impact you hoped for 😊

I had my daughter buzz my hair a year ago. I had a moment of regret but loved it after that. Now, for me, there is no going back. Once it starts to grow back, I cut it again. Then, I went blonde which is something I thought I would never do but I love that as well. It is fun to experiment and having a daughter that is a stylist makes it even better. The young lady in the video is still absolutely gorgeous with the cut. Once she adjusts to having done it, she will be fine. It is empowering in a way. It will grow back. I love that she made the decision and did it.

I shaved my head 10 years ago and kept it real short for 7 years. Now it's down to my ass again lol. The beautiful thing about hair is that it GROWS : ) Shaving my hair definitely made me more confident and free. I use to spend hours getting ready and sometimes still wouldn't leave the house because I wasn't happy with how I looked or mostly unhappy with what my hair was doing. This cured me of caring about what I look like when I leave the house. I can go out into the world and focus on who I am as a person and not what I look like because my insides are and will always be more important. Be kind, be patient, and be well. Peace and love
This is nice. I'm on the same path as you my friend. Did my first side shave in 2015. Now I'm down to a face length fauxhawk. I plan what I want to do next, but it only happens when the feels are just right. I hadn't received a hut cut till I turned 17. I had hair beyond my butt. That experience made me get to my fauxhawk today. Extremely happy with my hair. Love every style I've gone with. I'm so blessed with good Indian hair genes, it will grow back. It isn't as emotional as this. I feel motivated! Of course not everyone is the same. I was surprised at the emotions though. But I'm glad you are happy now.
@@granavelenciamethalaka Omg you're so lucky. Indian women are some of the most beautiful women on the planet and most definitely have the best hair. I'm a hairstylist and happen to know that most wigs and hair extensions are made from indian hair. It's worth a lot of money. My journey continues to grow my hair out. I've always wanted hair down to my knees but it's so much work to wash and care for. I'm strongly considering cutting again but I know I'll regret it. It took like 3 years to get this long.

The buzz cut really looks good on you. The first time is always the most difficult seeing your hair fall. Once you adjust to seeing "your self" without so much hair you'll be comfortable rocking it. I got so many compliments from men and women with my buzz cut. Enjoy doing "you"!!

@Just Madlyn if that's you in the avatar, I reckon you're very much firmly in the suits camp. You just need to be a badass and own it :) People with small features (lips and eyes), thin faces, light eyebrows, undefined jaws, small/large chins may not look great without hair framing the face.

I have wanted to do it for so many years! And finally I did it a few months ago. It was so scary, but I love it!!!! It is soooooo empowering to not hide behind my hair anymore! I have been buzzing my hair now twice a week because that's how fast it grows! For someone like me who has struggled with depression and anxiety and bipolar disorder that it was the best thing I ever did, I feel stronger and fearless and you will too! You look sooo beautiful!!!!!!!! You rock that style girl like me! And remember.... It's HAIR it grows back! It really brings out your beautiful face and your big Bambi eyes just pop!!! As for the dryness I use pure coconut oil to keep my scalp healthy. You got this girl! SMILE!!! You are stunning!!!
Well done! I have done this too - a year ago today almost! I have kept my hair short now for two years and can't seem to go back to long because short hair makes me feel so strong inside! It's a big deal and not everyone gets it - but I do. I get how much we hide behind, as women, and how much we are expected to look a certain way! You are beautiful and strong, and don't forget it! X
Wow. This was a great video. I’ve watched several of these “shaving my head” videos and they all portray girls who are amped, fearless, and confident. It feels a little forced sometimes though. I love seeing your vulnerability. I love that you took this chance even though we’re so scared, that took so much courage. And even though I’m sad for you that you didn’t seem to get what you were looking for, seeing you cry was so real and I appreciate your honesty. I’m not at all saying that every girl who shaves her head regrets it or anything but there’s one or two I’ve seen where it seemed like they were forcing back some emotion because they didn’t want to show on their channel that they felt they may have made a mistake. I think you still look amazing. I’m sorry that you’ve have a difficult year, I can definitely relate to that. And I’m sorry you didn’t feel that fresh start you were wanting. But I really really appreciate your authenticity. Your eyes got so so blue when you first ran the clippers through. There is nothing more exhilarating, scary, freeing, intimidating and exciting than shaving your head. I have done it like 4 times and I still get all the feels..

I recently shaved my head due to alopecia areata and let me tell u this:
I always struggled to feel comfy with my hair because of the bold spots but after I shaved it felt so fresh! You have to get used to it but I love it now! Hair is just a Standart for us women but hair should not define us of who we are. You are beautiful with or without hair! And the best part of it: it grows back :) ❤️

The look, movement, touch, smell of long hair turn men on. When I see a buzzed woman, I don't think confidence, but rather medical or mental issues. Or bitterness against men.

Hi I had blonde hair for years with the lockdown I decided to go brown all over its taken me a week to decide yes it's OK glad when I can go to the hairdressers in August for a touch up
When you started crying I just kept saying to the screen:

Beautiful. I did that once, it was SO liberating! I was always identified as the beauty with the thick long curly blond hair, it was beautiful, but it wasn't who I am. Never regretted it. In fact, I've been getting the itch to do it again

today i shaved my head again after shaving it last time at the end of 2019 and i'm glad i did. it gives me a sense of liberty and confidence and it's so much more convenient as well. as long as we are beautiful inside, that's all that matters even if we don't have hair.

I also shaved my head many years ago for all the wonderful reasons you speak of and I never regretted it. I have long hair again, which I'm enjoying but I will always remember how good it felt to do it for all the valuable reasons I needed to. If I hadn't done it, I would have always wondered what it would be like. I'm so glad I can add that experience, and all the personal enrichment it meant to me, to my Life.
I know it's really not about looks, in fact it's the opposite, but I actually think you look even more beautiful with your shaved head.

Shaved my thick hair today,I feel so nice touching my bald head anytime I feel like.Wow never knew smooth head feels so nice especially when taking a shower,no restrictions you gotta run water from your head down your toes.

I am sure you have been thru a lots, deceived, left by yourself and struggling to even fine an escape or a way to stand up once again on your own feet. Your tears and honesty says it all. I felt what you have been going thru: what comes from the heart goes and reaches the hearts.

I have been thru a lots too. I did shave my hair too. You know what you will come out of this Really stronger, believe me.
I went thru it, my strength, support of my family and closest friends did help me a lot.

I cut mine real short when I started getting really severe migraines. It was pretty long when I did it...you will miss it at first - but you will love it - and YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!
