      Now you know back in 1989 there was no deforestation no ppppy cultivation but still flood is there, now dont blame kuki for every natural calamity in manipur

      @@alsonngambom09 Manipur plain area is only 10% surrounded by 90% of hill ranges. First know the difference between normal flood after raining incessantly for 5-7 days and the present flash flood after raining for just 1 day. Excessive deforestation causes all the water from the surrounding hills immediately draining down to the low level Imphal plain as there are no abundant trees to hold the water. Flood or any natural disaster is inevitable. But its severity is increased by deforestation and improper drainage system.

    There is flood landslide in nagaland, mizoram, meghalaya assam bangladesh west bengal every now and then, i dont support poppy plantation and deforestation all i want to say is this unprecedented rainfall, storm and cyclone is due to cyclone Ramel which is due to El Nino and El Nina in Bay of Bengal.

  • @alsonngambom09
    @alsonngambom09 Před měsícem +12

    This proved that poppy planting and deforestation has nothing to do with flood in manipur

    • @romanpanmei2647
      @romanpanmei2647 Před měsícem +5

      Soil erosion and land slide is responsible for deforestation

      Then, the scale of rainfall was very very high which continued for mny days. Plz don't try to cover up the affect of deforestation for poppy

    How peacefully it was... Today so much disturbance from those communities who don't think that Manipur is their motherland....

      @Xmenmeiteiradical Před měsícem +3

      We do think it our motherland.it is your biren and some political leader in your community who treat us like outsider.thats the main reason for the conflict

      @@Xmenmeiteiradical Frankly speaking we dont blame all the Kuki. My wife is also a Kuki. Its just the negligence of State Govt for its inability to Recognise who are the the Old Kuki and the New Kuki. And By New Kuki means those those Kuki who came after this flood. Also it should be the responsibility of the Old kuki to help the Govt in differentiating the Original Kuki and the Illegal Kuki
