Great job man, thanks for showing us how you did it. I've been trying to find something like this for ages! Quick straight and to the point. Often times too many people focus on EQ and compression while doing something and never finish the whole thing (30 minutes for just a kick/bassline as an example). Love your work and hope to continue to see you grow.

Can i just ask, i bought Ableton live, and got plugins with a ton of sounds, my question is how do you pick the right sounds? like when i try to combine sounds it just doesn't sound good? any cheat sheet or advice? thanks!

You have to decide wthats the right Sound for yourself. Thats how you create your own Style.

C'est un débat sans fin. Il y a 1 milliard de genre. Les gens appellent ce genre "Uplifting Trance" Ce qui me gène c'est surtout les mecs qui mettent "How to Progressive House like MArtin Garrix" lol
en vrai il y a une barrière très fine entre la progressive house et la trance et l'uplifting est un mélange des deux, les mélodies angéliques et nostalgique avec les gros synthés en supersaw et les rolling bass de la trance mélangé à l'aspect progressif et chill de la progressive house donc si c'est complètement de la trance, c'est juste que ça ressemble moins à ce qu'on entendais dans les années 90 et puis même les genre évoluent avec le temps@@ViatoremAJ

No compression on kick drums/project is more than 20 track recordings/no harmony between kick drums and baseline/no enough automations/no balance between audio and mono. Just fix these major éléments and you will see the difference on your future projects😉

While I respect the points you raised, in a way to increase production skills, your tone leaves something to be desired; balance and respect. Guy did a hellva track and while he can improve his mixdowns with what you've suggested please know that your tone comes across in a neg way. I know you're just trying to help and thanks for the comment. I'm sure he'll grow in a great producer :)

It is a tutorial. A tutorial does not need to have a voiceover explaining decisions and why. Skip to the parts useful for your development, sound design, pads, bass, EQ of certain elements etc if you don’t want to sit through the whole process :) much better to have this than the days before CZcams when the only way to figure this stuff out was to do it for yourself!
