Around here you can get finely crushed stone and after it’s spread out, it packs down like a cement slab. It would be wonderful for inside the barn
Would that be considered the same along the line of what we call, I believe it is, crushcrete, or something along that line. It’s like small rock and crushed concrete mixed together and it packs down real good and last a long time. Y’all sure have been really moving it as far as getting cleared. So great y’all aren’t going to have to big a problem for your electric and water. That’s awesome!
Here in Michigan it's called; AA Driveway gravel. Great stuff, compacts with just a little weight and hard as concrete. Cheap too.

For those light branches, use an old king sized sheet (or painters canvas tarp) to load them on. Then you & Gary can just drag it to the burn pile...less steps back & forth. Also, I agree with Nancy on the gravel. I had the small crushed on my driveway and pea gravel in my 'courtyard where my dogs were. The pea gravel was easy to blow leaves/ debris off, easy to rake to neaten, easy to use the pooper scooper and kept all the dirt and mud out of my house.

Gary there's a machine thats half mower and half tiller and has wheels it mowes down everythìng especially thickets and hard brush!! I'm not sure what company puts it out but you need to look into it!! It would save you alot of time and bending over to cut all that brush!! ❤ Mamma Carolyn

You should put landscape fabric like bobblehead used under your gravel to prevent weed and grass growth under your trailer
Just a little advice Mary think not to pull on your back when picking up stuff from the ground and fold your knees instead. You have to save your back.

Try to put plastic down before putting gravel down in the barn. This is so exciting!
Put your pole to the side of the barn, not directly in front. That way you are not blocking any future design changes. With the pole directly in front, you'll be S.O.L. for life.

The companies that deliver concrete and cement have to wash out the residue from the trucks. They will give it to you for free. all you have to do is haul it off. Most will even load your truck for you. That wash makes a great driveway. It hardens up like concrete. Just a thought on saving some cash right now while you work on more important things for your home. Rock can come later if you want it.

Property is lookin great y'all....hopefully everything works out good so ya can get moved over. Quick tip on cutting the limbs down....use the three step cut method...go out about 5 inches from trunk and do a small undercut (about two inches or so), then move back roughly one to two inches and do your top cut...the limp will fall straight down. The third cut is cutting off the nub closer to the tree trunk. I have seen those branches come down how you did it, knocking over the ladder and when your holding a chainsaw its not fun nor safe.
