I was so waiting for someone to comment on the church music! It is movement IV from 'Les corps glorieux' by French composer Olivier Messiaen. The purpose of this, and of all other inserted background music (the rest is mostly prefab songs that came with GarageBand) and noises, is to mask the abrupt background changes that happen with sentence mixing.
I think I was a good choice of music because, although it's played on a church organ, it sounds rather ominous; not like something you'd hear being played in a church at all.

For instance, the tune that the intrepid postman hums when he exits the Post Office...

***** It was a virtue born of necessity. If you do sentence mixing with clips that have background music in them, the music ends up sounding like crap anyway, so I just did a chopped-up background music track to the entire scene.

Callan Hughes That was one of the first edits I tried in the theme song (after the series-titling "Patman Post"), and it was around that point that I decided to try for a remix of the entire theme song. Remixing a song so that it still makes some sort of musical sense is incredibly difficult.
Makes you wonder if Pat is actually a serial-killer, and keeps his victims (his friends) in the postbags. :P
