    I remember when you did your video of you wondering if you should keep going or give up with your Etsy shop. I prayed you find the answer. I’m SO happy for you and how you have stayed strong and did the changes you needed to boost your business. Would be interesting to hear how you handle your business growing AND homeschooling your kiddos AND still keeping your sanity and taking care of yourself. Maybe another video idea?! Congrats Kayla.

    I’m was born in Winnemucca, Nevada. We moved to Elko, went to school until 8th grade. I still have relatives living in Reno, Silver Springs. I miss the snow too! Living in Texas now. It’s great to see your business grow. Good luck!!! You give me inspiration. Find your niche and the possibilities are endless!!!

    Thank you for this video, I have started my site a little over a month ago but I haven’t gotten any sales 😢. I am staying positive and trying to refocus what I want to sell. I have actually been trying to get company’s to hire me for the same thing you have done. Thank you again.

    Great focus and goals. Yes, I believe in sell local. I enjoy your vlogs but I’m mainly interested in the embroidery side of your business. As for my business, it has been a slow process but that’s what works for me since I work M-F and can only do a little at a time.

    I’m so glad you made this video I need to get my name out there. I’ve struggled for a year on how to get my name out there. I have a full time job which leaves me little time to put into my business. But I really need to get it going. I need to make a you tube channel too. My Etsy shop is stagnant too. I’m glad you made this it’s encouraging. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for your vlogs! I just came across yours recently and have watched several. This one was very helpful! I just purchased the same embroidery machine and told my husband my goal is to make enough to pay for my supplies & machine & hopefully a little more. I agree with starting local & word of mouth. I work for a Christian Youth Camp & will start by doing some of our merch. I’m hoping to get with some other local camps and see about doing some of theirs as well. This was encouraging knowing I’m on the right track. Keep up the good work & you’ll be in need of another machine in no time :)

    SOOO excited for you! Ive been rooting for you! I wanted to ask- are these orders all for embroidery? What machine do you use? I have the opposite problem right now which is a good problem to have....but still a problem... eek! I have more orders than I can handle by myself with my single needle machine. I really dont know anything about a multi needle and trying to figure out what I might invest in to make the whole process easier. I suck at hooping still too! Any tips??

    • @KaylaKrische
      @KaylaKrische  Před rokem

      Hi Jess! No, not all embroidery. Some were vinyl shirts.
      I know it's hard to make the jump but if you can then do it! It will make your life so much easier. What do you make the most of? How big of a sewing field do you need? Ricomas are great machines and they all come with training when you purchase. The EM 1010 is great to start with but if I could go back I'd start with the TC1501. It's wayyyy better for hats. But if you don't do hats then that's not an issue. The EM1010 is only $135/month (and with my link you get an extra $100 off).
      For hooping, it just takes practice! There's also the Mighty Hoop station that helps make it easier! It's pricey, but a worthy add on. It really helps me with pocket logos!
      I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions :)

    • @KaylaKrische
      @KaylaKrische  Před rokem

      I know. I would do them for someone locally but I would never advertise for them online.

    • @SoniaShowalter
      @SoniaShowalter Před rokem

      @@KaylaKrische respectfully, you shouldn't do them at all. Violating copyright is never right especially if you are a business. I'm sorry to be blunt, but there is no easy way to say it. Also, credibility and respect is important if you want your business to succeed.🙂

    • @KaylaKrische
      @KaylaKrische  Před rokem

      @@SoniaShowalter I appreciate your bluntness and passion about this. I suppose I should've been more descriptive with these Disney shirts. What this particular customer wanted was "This Family Trip Has Got Me Feeling Un Poco Loco" in a bright colored cursive. That's it. Not even the same font from the movie. Didn't have the name Disney anywhere and didn't have any characters. Still would do something like that for someone locally but I wouldn't advertise for them online. I wouldn't do them at craft shows either (I don't do craft shows at all actually).
      It's a moot point regardless, this customer never ordered. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It is rare that I get asked for family shirts and doing a saying on a few shirts was no big deal to me.
