Debating Society

Year 7 students participated in a stimulating discussion on the significance of college degrees. They explored whether a college degree serves as a gateway to a better future and career or not. Debates not only cultivate essential skills like critical thinking and respecting diverse perspectives in students, but also provide them with opportunities to delve into current topics and acquire knowledge about global issues.
On the other hand, Artificial intelligence, a widely debated topic, sparked discussions among Year 8, 9, and 10 students. They explored the merits and drawbacks of AI, pondering whether it benefits humanity or poses a threat to the world. Questions regarding the potential domination of AI, and how we can harness its advantages while mitigating risks were passionately addressed during the debate. Our talented students skillfully presented both perspectives, captivating the audience with a compelling and respectful exchange of ideas.
