Unreal the amount of respect they had for not only one another but also each others religons. Also toward the end of the film, Salahuddin picks the crucifix up off the ground and places it upright on a table showing how real he was. Even behind closed doors where no one could see, he still maintained respect.

Having Salahuddin offer his personal physicians was a great gesture on multiple layers, which does coincide with his character in real life. Also, note how before they discussed a rest to arms, they did not greet eachother with Salam aleikum. They only said this afterwards as it literally means to wish peace upon the other.
