- Hello everyone, this is Sumi.
In March 2022, I went to the flea market in Fenouillet, a rural town in southern France.
This time it is a flea market called "Vide-grenier".
Since it is an exhibition by the general public, the treasure may be sold at a very low price. (It's like a garage sale!)
It was a scale of up to 250 stores.

There were few antique tableware this time. However, I was able to find antique furniture and decorations etc. at a very low price. I was very happy because I was able to buy a lot of wonderful things ♪

I thought the wooden cabinet with burl front and marble top was a steal for 10 euro. I also liked the marble topped table. You said it was broken but didn't show how. If the wood doesn't look great, you can rub it with mineral oil and it will be restored. Mineral oil is sold as butcher block oil to treat your cutting boards so they don't dry out. In the US it is also sold as a laxative so can be found cheap in a pharmacy. It does darken the wood when it is first applied but I rub all old wood with it as it is very good for restoring moisture. I also like the enamel coffee pots (there was a nice blue one) which are useful for watering plants or to use as a vase. They seem fairly abundant at the flea markets there. I love them for their bold colors and shapes and utility. The triangular dish you used to put accessories in appeared to be handmade, enamel on copper. That was a lovely piece you bought and very cheap. I also liked your hanging lamp. I'd like to see it with a light inside. You could use a votive candle in a glass inside the lamp. Your basket was a great find too. Very enjoyable video.
Thank you for watching ! The marble topped table, I couldn't close the drawer to the end. The wood is dry, so it was not slippery anymore , or the shape was out of balance. and the wood was peeling off at the corner. I didn’t know about Mineral oil ! I think it is good to repair by my self if I couldn’t find perfect condition 😊 I like DIY🔧 Thank you for teaching me ! and I didn’t know the purple triangular dish can be handmade ! now I like my purchase more haha ! and Putting a votive candle in a glass inside the lamp is a very nice idea !! I will definitely do that !! 🕯✨

お宝です。程度もよさそうですし、日本だとその価格の１０倍とかじゃないでしょうか。
一般の方の出品だと本当に安い価格でお宝が出るんですね。
そのほかも色々安くてビックリしました。
刻印調べたら1890年～1920年頃なのでアンティークですね！ しかも「MAGENTA」のソーシエールはかなり珍しそうでした。喉から手が出る～（笑）
サルグミンヌのTerre de ferがあるのは知っていたのですが、Creil et MontereauでもTerre de ferがあるのですね！今回もお宝を逃してしまっていたとは...😰 安いですよね〜おばあちゃんの物を息子や孫が価値を知らずに出品していたりするので、値段設定がおかしい時があるんです(笑)

パリの蚤の市は、高い上にゴミみたいな物が沢山で地方の蚤の市との違いにびっくりしてしまいました。田舎に行くほど安くて良い物が手に入り羨ましいです。
