The fact that the season tournament banner was forced to be raised by the NBA, the Lakers didn't want to put it up, together with the Celtics winning the Finals to surpass the Lakers in banners once again, I think is a very underrated moment for how funny it is.

This was a season full of unironically funny moments befitting of an HBO comedy. Dontay Porter's ban for life, Ja Morant playing for 2 games all season, the Pistons' losing streak, Doc Rivers to the Bucks, Lebron yelling at a monitor, those fans trying to coax KD, JB's dunk contest, Jimmy Butler's turning emo, the Wizards/Pistons sicko games, Boban's bricking for free chicken.
Love it when the game is good, laugh when the game is silly.

I was remembering the Damian Lillard saga and I just remembered that he was demanding to go to only Miami. I think that's why it took a long time because Miami made a low bid in the minds of the Portland Trailblazers management and so nothing happened for a long time and then he finally relented to allow other teams to be in the mix for his services. That's a really big part of how it all went down. In the beginning Miami knew it was only them so they decided to put in a less than amazing offer and it backfired on them. Miami has been kind of dropping the bag quite a lot in the last couple years. I think they think that they're so special that they don't have to show a lot of effort when it comes to things like this.đ
They know they have a huge advantage in being the best destination to live for the majority of players in the Eastern conference. Wanna live in Boston, Minnesota, Cleveland, Washington, Philly or Chicago in the winter? Or Miami? ATL is a rough place to live because it's overpopulated and you'll have to go out 30-45 minutes to the county to buy a decent house. Also, Pat Riley thinks he's God's gift to players

I'm A Warrior's fan and I am incredibly sick of the Draymond bulshit. I think this year the team finally had enough of it as well but they still had paid the guy so they had to tolerate it a little bit. I know he pulled it together for the rest of the season but there's nothing stopping him once he feels like he's got something he has to prove. He's the definition of a hot-headed guy. He cost Golden State a championship yet he doesn't seem to carry that like a burden whatsoever. Draymond Green loves him some Draymond Green.đ

16:25 i hope i dont sound to mean its not my intention but to me that sounds like a double standard. I almost exclusively consume basketball media online becouse my country doesnt have basketball tv coverage and i still feel like sport betting ads are everywhere. They are unescapable. Almost every youtuber i watch is sponsored and is promoting sports betting. If you are bothered by sport betting ads everywhere you should stop promoting them. I dont want to sound aggresive but i find it weird that youtubers (i remember kenny said something similiar too) often think its okay for them to have betting ads but its not okay for tv stations. Why? From my point of view youtubers are just as influential if not more then tv people.I hope you will be succesful and if you want to make money by getting sponsored by betting companies i understand and respect that (although i dont support it) but you cant later say that beting ads are bad for the sport if you yourself are promoting them. This is just how i feel. I would like to hear your side of the story. Sorry for the broken english.

the guy betting on himself was troubling. It wasn't the first and it sure as hell won't be the last as common as the betting apps are. As these companies get more and more integrated with the leagues and worm themselves into college and highschool it's probably unavoidable. Hopefully not in my lifetime but I think eventually the league won't be able to stop players from betting on games.

It's so funny to me that regulators drew the line with tabaco advertising back in the day, but alcohol and gambling ads are fine. All three should be in the same bucket in my opinion.
Yeah I agree on the Sports betting advertising thing. Gambling ruins a lot of people's lives, and advertising it on national television shouldn't be allowed just because they put a hotline on the screen at the end for 5 seconds

The only team that did really well in the in season tournament and then the end-of-season tournament was the Indiana pacers. Somehow it feels like they're still under the radar but they had a really good year. It's a shame that Tyrese Halliburton got injured this season because he was never as good as he had been in the innseason tournament but he was still good enough to lead this team to the Eastern conference championship series and they might have been a little more competitive than that if he hadn't gone down with a season ending injury with no time to heal up and get back. If they can resign Pascal siakam and get back B. Math then they may end up being the second best team in the east in the regular season. It's pretty competitive at the top of the Eastern conference except for the Celtics so there could be a lot of competition depending on what happens in the off-season especially with New York. Also I think most people would expect that the Bucks would have the time to finally get their top two players synced up. Can't leave out the 76ers because Philadelphia could be pretty dangerous depending on who they pick up in the offseason and the health of Joel Embiid. Okay I just wrote a novella so I'll stop.đ.

The only reason Luka was able to get a decent look was because Gobert tried to defend the drive as well which led to Luka just faking the drive and stepping back because Gobert doesnât have the quickness to recover. Gobert should have just gave the drive and hoped for a Luka miss. And if Luka made it you still get a final shot PLUS you can still play in ot.

Only a couple minutes into the video but I'm very happy to see that you're not doing that two camera thing where you get filmed from the side. It just feels like a weird gimmick and it's distracting and bothersome to me. Each to their own but I prefer when you just look straight ahead. The other way that you film your videos just seems kind of pointless. Like why do we need a second angle of one guy that's just sitting? It sort of feels like you saw it in a different video and decided to try it. Maybe something like the evening news? Dunno.

Before watching the video... in my opinion. The year was definitely an NBA year of all time. The biggest disappointment was the bucks, the in season tournament was something? Not really sure how tl feel about. Wemby vs Chet for ROY was pretty fun. The Thunder have arrived. The Lakers continue to be a disaster. Lebron is the only keeping them remotely relevant. Wait till he leaves, lol. The Villanova Knicks are back and it felt good to actually cheer for them.
The playoffs were pretty meh. It's the end of the 2010s talent to make way for the new kids of the block. Sad. Lol. And unfortunately too top it off, anytime Boston wins in any sport, it ruins the year.
