So, here's some info on this group KARD... Korean culture is fairly conservative, and the function of Kpop idols in Korean society is to be role models for the younger generation...an example for young kids to aspire to...kinda like Disney Channel kids... so these idols tend to abide by the strictest of social etiquette; no drinking or smoking, no dating, tattoos, etc... basically no "loose living," lol...(although these social norms are slowly changing.) So when it comes to social etiquette, male idols and female idols almost NEVER interact with each other in a public setting... partly out of respect for the fans, but partly because these idols are literally being marketed by their managing companies as "the boyfriend/girlfriend experience." These companies are selling fans a sort of fantasy, and that fantasy shatters the moment it becomes public knowledge that one of their Kpop boys/girls is dating someone... so when it was announced that a new group was preparing to debut that was a co-ed group, with both male and female members, the Korean public was shocked. Co-ed groups weren't technically a new thing, but when they did happen it was typically a one-off situation for an award show performance or charity. KARD was full-fledged Kpop group that intended to debut and pursue a lengthy career with a lineup that was set in stone: 2 male & 2 female members. So, when you watch KARD, try to imagine what it's like for a typical Korean citizen to be watching a co-ed group...it's like when Elvis first started shaking his hips on live television, or when Justin Timberlake & Janet Jackson had that 'wardrobe malfunction' at their superbowl halftime performance, lol... I feel like Kard is definitely a more mature group, which I quite like. And their songs are all just top notch. I've been watching their reactions to KARD and I think they are still too few to see their versatility and potential, I would like you to see all the songs from their pre-debut because they released three songs before debuting as a group, Oh nana, Don't recall and RUMOR, and there is a lot of versatility in contrast to his debut song, which was Hello hello, then you see and listen to You and me, and it is something totally different, Ride on the Wind, Tell me, Moonlight, Red moon, INFERNO and ENEMY, which were songs in a sub unit, one for men the other for women, so I consider that they must react to at least one song from each EP that they have released. I've been watching their reactions to KARD and I think they are still too few to see their versatility and potential, I would like you to see all the songs from their pre-debut because they released three songs before debuting as a group, Oh nana, Don't recall and RUMOR, and there is a lot of versatility in contrast to his debut song, which was Hello hello, then you see and listen to You and me, and it is something totally different, Ride on the Wind, Tell me, Moonlight, Red moon, INFERNO and ENEMY, which were songs in a sub unit, one for men the other for women, so I consider that they must react to at least one song from each EP that they have released. I subscribed to see more its content, greetings and success!
