    Thank you man! Just did my gaskets. No more leaks!! I didn't even have to take off my fan. Just left it on same with the thermostat housing

    So sealants are not necessary for the gaskets then??

    excellent, needed to know if I had to use sealants on threads and messy gasket sealants too. Will be doing my 2003 Envoy 5.3 this weekend

    @TRQ Also you mentioned the mounting bolt should not go into the cooling jacket but can you tell us why they shouldn’t? And what would cause them to go in the cooling jacket if they are not supposed to be able to? Thanks in advance for the Info Great Videos!

    Are we supposed to burp the cooling system after dumping and replacing the coolant? Or is it as simple as fill to full level then reinstall cap and your done?

    You didn't have to take off the tensioner pulley
