Don Cherry has been teaching English in Japan for over 30 years using the Silent Way. This video is part of a project to document some of the techniques he uses to teach his students at Hiroshima International University
All the students were 18-year-old Japanese students. There were around 30 students in each of the classes we filmed. English is a required course as part of their university studies. All the students had already had at least 6 years of learning English at school.
