I really don't care about the grip the NGE community has with the rebuild series. It's a nice change of tone and atmosphere from the original TV show. It's suppose to be a different sequence, that's one of the sub-points the 4th movie tried to relay to the audience but I guess some people can't just be happy with more NGE content.
