At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Simpsons did a Disney plus short we’re they collaborated with Mr beast . 💀
Only way I'd be happy to see that is if it somehow becomes a Kingdom Hearts parody because I feel like he'd be the most absurd choice to stand in for the final fantasy characters under the joke of "well we couldn't get the licensing rights from Square Enix, and he was the only one to show up to auditions... aside from Ms Kumiko over there".

@@TheSimpsonsTheoryDitto! Those are the best ones. I saw the one proceeding Onward and my mom found it hilarious. They should just keep making those shorts for future animated movies. Though they should really focus more on character and story and not inject Disney IPs and random celebrities every time.

It’s kind of crazy that February (maybe March) 2025 will match the time since the movie as The Simpsons’s premiere to the Movie

They said they're still working on it.
My personal favourite was The Good, the Bad and the Loki. It was fun to have Tom Hiddleston in a short and I did laugh at Lisa’s line, “Goodbye Self Esteem Issues! HA!”
That's not even the title. She kept saying it wrong. It's "The Good, the Bart, and the Loki".

@@hunterculpepper1973 Rather confusingly, that seems to be a completely different Loki, because he doesn't look the same and he's not voiced by Tom Hiddleston.
The Simpsons/Marvel Disney+ Short pretty much parodying the Loki Series in 2021, also where Lisa transformed into Thor out of nowhere after touching his hammer, and Bart and Loki changing bodies I believe was so weirdly unique and cool. Not to mention, everybody else as the Marvel Superheroes from Springfield lol. That Simpsons Disney+ short is my favourite, easily also as a Marvel fan alongside The Simpsons.
I've never clicked on a video so fast. I was gutted at the start of this weekend because Gladiators wasn't on BBC One on Saturday, but 2 new videos from you cheered me right up! You're awesome! But I'm sure you know you're awesome already.

I haven’t seen all of these shorts yet, but unlike James I liked Rouge Not Quite One, and I haven’t seen any Star Wars films (I know, you can now tear me apart if you like) but I do agree that Plusaversery is really bad. When it came to the Disney+ song I’m guessing it went something like this:
Executive 1: “Okay, so we wrote the lyrics, now what do we do with this thing?”
Executive 2: “Err… oh, Yeardley can sing! It doesn’t matter that Lisa would never sing the praises of a massive company, she can still sing!”
Executive 1: “That’s brilliant, get her in here!”
So in they dragged Yeardley, who, bless her, presumably recorded that rubbish against her will.

@@TheSimpsonsTheory Probably the ones on the Playmates figures and the comics because I had almost all of the former and still own most of the latter (also agree that the comic crossover with Futurama was better than “Simpsorama”)
Remember classic Simpsons, how they'd always RIDICULE famous people? Now celebrities show up just to get praised and worshipped. I think your use of "icky" perfectly sums these shorts up. I also haaaate what they've done to Lisa Simpson's character. For everything we know about Lisa and what she stands for, it feels gross and wrong to make her be the one to celebrate the giant soulless corporate behemoth.
I just love her videos, she talks in a great way, the topics are interesting as well as being the Simpsons which is one of the best tv shows ever and it is edited very nicely, just something about these videos are amazing, keep up the great work and everyone who reads this, have a great month sincerely

A year after the Longest Daycare, there was a Simpsons couch gag with Matt Groening and The Simpsons sitting Comic Con and Comic Book Guy asks if there will be another and everybody but Maggie leaves implying that Maggie might have another shot at the big screen and she did with Playdate with Destiny. It's fitting that Maggie had her own theatrical shorts since she have that big of a role in the movie. Yes, she was one that discovered that the sink hole in the sandbox was the way to get out of the dome. And she was the one that defeated Russ Cargill but that's about it

Yes, l've been watching The Simpsons every week since 1991. Can't wait to see the rest of season 35, now that Disney Plus here in Australia said new episode is coming. Producer Al Jean said it maybe continue to season 40.

They have that Maggie one at daycare at the Simpsons store in Myrtle Beach. In 3D! It’s very cool
That blue butterfly from the Maggie shorts could also give way to a possible Simpsons/Bluey animated short. Bluey also has a blue butterfly that comes & go throughout the series.
The one thing I’ll give to the Bad Bunny music video with Homer is that it has the Latin America voice actor as the main dub which is really dope
This video was awesome! Even though I personally found the shorts enjoyable, I do see them being too fast paced. Also, when I first saw it, I absolutely thought The Good, The Bad, and The Loki looked perfect for a Treehouse of Horror segment. I hope the next shorts learn from the theatrical shorts they did.
Oh man, I somehow missed rogue not quite one. I’ll have to go and watch it. I don’t know how I missed that one! Otherwise, I agree with your list Lydia except for I would give when Billie met Lisa another star just because it’s Billie. Adore her so much, and I literally screamed when I saw that she was going to be in a short! I just wish like you that it had been better! I hope she decides to become a guest star on a full episode one day to make up for it! To answer your question though, it was made because Billie’s album Happier Than Ever has a concert film on Disney+ that they were releasing the same day; so I think it was there to try and draw in an audience that might not have known about it being there, but like her.

I knew about the concert, but I didn’t know about the short and there is an animated version of Billie in the concert special that’s still my Disney+ profile icon to this day, but I thought in my head, how cool would it be if that was, a Simpsons version of her and then the short was there and I was like oh my God! Hahaha!
Good vid. I personally only really like 2 of these, and I think you know which 2 they are. “When Billie Met Lisa” is alright I guess. Also, why has your Simpsons Episode 3 & 4 and Episode 9-10 review not in the channel anymore?
The Balenciaga short, however... is how to do an ad right. If it was an act in a trilogy episode, it would likely be the best trilogy episode besides some of the Treehouse Of Horror ones. Smithers wearing the dress is one of my favourite moments for him ever.

Yeah the old Tom and Jerry episodes where they made sure they had the stereotypical heavyweight black maid. And Tom talked in a black voice pining over a milky white cat.
I don’t think ‘black voice’ was Hannah’s intention when he did do the voice.

I really didn't care for on that much the Maggie one with the daycare was okay but I felt like there wasn't much to it except for the references to Star Wars

I always hoped that a short would explaine why and what everyone was doing just before and got to the point the camera follows Bart and stuff in the original Simpsons opening
The Longest Daycare is probably my favourite, and I quite like the idea of the Star Wars one. Maggie is definitely a good character to use for short films.

The Good the Bad and the Loki has like one actual joke in the sign held during the team up, but as it really made me laugh, it does get a pass from me.

I feel like we don't get many episodes about Maggie, and the writers are doing all of this to make it up.
It's a shame really, as my initial feeling was this was a good way to keep The Simpsons on board once the series ends. And while I agree the Disney tie-ins are a bit icky (but also kind of inevitable) the Andrea Bocelli one is a bit random. Matt Groening asking to have his credit removed due to The Critic crossover seems kind of quaint now.
Curiously, the Bad Bunny short is not on Disney+ Latin America but Star+ does consider one and has it there
Gotta wonder if they'll port it over to D+ once they finish merging the library by mid year
The Longest Daycare is excellent. I really wish they could have kept the quality for all the other shorts.
The first time I saw the longest daycare was in a 4D theater.
I feel like Disney using the Simpsons for these ads isn’t THAT out of character for what the show has done in the past.. I mean for the entire decade of the 90s Bart was basically whoring himself out for butterfingers

All Mickey Mouse shorts had sound (well, Plane Crazy and Gallopin Gaucho were made as silent shorts with sound added for release after Steamboat Willie).
I think silent films refer to if the characters talk, not if there is sound.
@@Red-jl1qr they talk in 99% of Mickey shorts (Mickey himself first talked in 1929's The Karnival Kid). There are only a handful of Mickey shorts without any dialogue (like 1935's The Band Concert, which is one of Disneys best)

Hey I found out something in the first season of the Simpsons and there is episode where bart cuts of the statue head and in the intro of a current Simpsons episode it would fall on Ralph head plz do a short or video on this 😮
That's not what Maggie ment Disney we wanted another Feature Length one maybe about them running away from CIA Agent Stan Smith ( American Dad ) because Bart and Homer and Maggie almost killed Al Gore in the first Movie hint hint.

Didn't care for "Welcome to the Club" as I've had people try to massage my ego telling me "I shouldn't want the princess roles". I don't think they understood how much I got bullied over my looks and how I didn't want to get stuck playing the same roles. Look, it can be fun being the bad guy, but it gets old wfter a while.

Remember when The Simpsons was made to be a slightly edgy, counter to the squeaky clean brand friendly family shows of the 80s? They became what they hated.

I have yet to see the last two released. This is actually the first time I heard of the Feliz Navidad one and I could tell I would hate it since episodes like "The Musk Who Fell to Earth" and "Lisa Goes Gaga" are some of my least favorite episodes since it's more of a tribute than a Simpsons episode since they get non-stop praise. The Longest Daycare I remember seeing that in theaters and it's definitely a great experience. It's hard to pick a favorite since none of them were spectacular in particular in my opinion. I know I hated the Loki one and the one with the Disney villains the most.

The Simpsons shorts are the perfect vehicle for quick stories involving the encyclopaedia of side characters. There’s enough characters there to pump out a handful of shorts each year, rather than the cross-promotional nonsense they’re used for now.
