"Liar" is a rearangement of "Just a Liar" by Mi-Ya's former band, A Drop Of Joker. Although originally a metalcore song, Miho and Asami liked it and Mi-Ya thought it would be a waste of a good song when the band broke up. Dr. U, who wrote the lyrics for "Scream for Me" and "Liar" , is an American male aquaintance of Miyako who lives in Japan.

Brilliant performance, just like the rest of the show. Miyako's delicate keyboard melody is so lovely. As great as Haruna's double bass always is, I've started to appreciate her cymbal work even more than usual, especially how she accents the vocals with them. I envy whoever gets chosen to be their bass guitarist!
I've been picking up a lot on her use of splashes as accents a lot. Definitely love a drummer who treats their set as a melodic instrument and chooses toms/cymbals for specific sounds! Thanks!

Miyako had the baby; she announced the birth and her marriage in the same announcement. And if you look close at any of the 2001 concert vids, you can see the baby bump. She was 4 and a half months pregnant. What an incredible woman

The little dynamite.....one hell of an incredible drummer. One of the best I have heard in my entire lifetime ....honestly. And she does that with so much ease. 🤘🐺🔥
@@Phoenix-ci7ix Indeed, bassists recognize her talent right away. Quite a unique groove she has for sure. Intense without being flashy. Stays subtly in the pocket while executing blistering fills and the double kick work with the rests and spirts she works in at insane BPMs is simply brutal when you key in on it. Her excellence can go unnoticed to the untrained ear...the absolute epitome of how to service the band. 🤘🤘

It was originally a song by MIYAKO who was in an EDM band. It's a Death Voice song!!
The band arrangement is added so that the "A Drop of Joker" version sounds like a rough demo tape. Before joining LOVEBITES, MIYAKO was always the only one who stood out, but here it fits neatly into the LOVEBITES pentagon and is an amazing song.
I think it's not enough to just have talent. It's interesting to see a band with so many different talents. What kind of pentagon will it be next?

Great Reaction to a Great Song! There are so many songs where Midori gets outro solos that never seem to get recorded it is nice to see her get some camera time on this one. Suggestion: you should pin your opening Comment to the top of the page so it's not so hard to find.

This song is epic and its a real gem. Another great song that gets overlooked because this song was not included in Daughters Of The Dawn, Five Of A Kind, or Heavy Metal Never Dies. The songs that arent included in any of those big 3 performances people tend to overlook or forget about them. Songs like Puppet On Strings, Paranoia, Inspire, Liar, Mastermind 01, The Final Collision, Dystopia Symphony, No Time To Hesitate, Warning Shot, and Burden Of Time

@@GlassMoonGaming Oh yes I seen them 🤘 was just listening off the rare ones. Puppet On Strings and Paranoia are super addicting songs and 2 of my favorites. Paranoia is also one of the few songs where music is written by Asami and she calls it Asami Metal, you'll love it
So much power from this song especialy drum part. Haruna hit it hard and fast pedal. Miyako and Midori mindblowing shredding as always. Miho make the stage 'hot' while Asami perfecting the whole sound. such a brilliant mind of Mi-Ya that compose such 'compact' song (to me). Thanks friend for bringin this song up..👍👍🤘🤘

she is an amazing drummer indeed. but that fast double bass i have heard alot of metal bands do. black metal bands in general. look at Proscriptor from Absu (he does vocals and Drum) or Dominator from Dark Funeral. I dont know if you find it more impressive because haruna is a girl. but i have heard it couple of times. none the less its still impressive.
Oh I've definitely heard a lot of metal bands do it fast, if not faster. I find it impressive mostly because she's like 4'9 and keeps that stamina up for the entire show since the majority of the songs I've heard, anyway, have it going non stop. Anyone who does that is impressive in my eyes!
