The woman on the horse is a soldier who is serving in our armed forces. That kid would know this, any sign of trouble that could turn dangerous for civilians, then she would ready to take action and actually lay her life on the line to protect all around her. Who knows what she has seen and been through if she’s been deployed to Afganistan etc. She deserves every ounce of respect. The building on the right hand side is the army barracks, and also where the horses are kept and treated very well. I just thought that if you didn’t know that then you would find it interesting. Remember, knowledge is power and every day is a school day for us all, we actually learn more each day then we can remember and at my age I try to keep my memory sharp, but being in the late 60’s I can tell that I can be forgetful much more than I used to be. Stay blessed young man.
I don't understand what's happened to shame in this generation.
When i was a lad, i generally behaved myself because i didn't want to embarrass my family.
Yet in 2024, the entire world can see these kids acting stupid, yet they somehow don't care
Me and my pals are 80's babies and when we go to the pub, we talk about how bad we were as kids and then feeling guilty and embarrassed, but the more I watch kids behave today, in comparison, we did absolutely nothing wrong. ❤

My dad was in the army and essentially so were we, taught to respect him, his army and our majesty with pride.
Thing is the Guards aren't allowed to talk to people, that fellow is revolting so is his girlfriend, why wasn't she arrested?

I'm afraid that I would have been the one in trouble with the Police in this scenario. The only times I have ever been involved with the Police has been on occasions like this. On one of the occasions it involved a gang of 8 idiots giving giving shit to a woman. I woke up in hospital the next day with various injuries, I still did the right thing and wouldn't change my actions! LMAO. They got theirs eventually. The Lady on the horse is not play acting. She is a real soldier on guard for the King. She is not meant to speak to people, so they should not try to disturb her or her horse. These big powerful horses can be easily upset, which is dangerous with a large crowd of people around.
People are allowed to touch the horse & to stand by for photos, but touching the reins takes control off the rider so is not allowed. For her it is a very hot job in warm weather, & she has to watch all the time for people crowding around her horse.

You are allowed to pat the horse, but it is polite to ask first. This is the official entrance to Buckingham Palace Precinct called Horse Guards, a long way from the actual palace itself. ZERO need to ask if you may record anyone who is in public, but they are public servants and in ceremonial uniform they are Tourist Attractions even though they are on duty Soldiers. Those Armed police cannot arrest anyone outside Horse Guards because they are Ministry of Defence Police, you need Met police for that. Military Police arrest Military members.
There are a few videographers that are there every day and catch all these incidents, and the military and police can be heard saying cheers and thanks for having the proof they need. And also seeing the odd take of the MOD police of arresting a Civilian.
If that was my son he wouldn't be able to sit down for a week!

@user-gf1jt2hp4m .......thats where it started as it was folk in my age group were having kids that grew up spoilt and wanted for nothing.....my parents would make me sit down at a table to eat a meal that was homecooked so in rebellion perhaps? we let our kids eat junk food and sit on sofa to eat and gave them no discipline when needed?...they got luxuries bought for them on credit and their demands got bigger and bigger all paid for by parents........then they start having their own kids of which that young guy is an example - think theyre entitled to do/say as they want and hate authority or never had authority from parents........zero discipline means bigger outcomes and the next generation will be worse.....cant say anything as they,ll claim abuse.
