The lead guitarist in the band is their shared vocal coach. He put them together for this collab. I’m going to go out on a limb and say in terms of diversity of song choices and genres tackled, Baekhyun has the greatest range in EXO. Pop, indie, R&B, Ballad, hip-hop, blues, dance, baby making.

Seomoontak is definitely another vocal legend in Korea (and a classic of karaoke since she started her career). Baekhyun did this just before he enlisted (yet another amazing performance, he was drowning us in them that spring) and I remember being so excited to see the two of them sing together....

Well, not everyone knows that Baekhyun received piano and vocal lessons from a member of the korean rock band Dick Punks , although those lessons brought him closer to a professional level, it wasn't too helpful for him as a trainee because he worked hard to adapt his vocal technique to a proper one for live performances including dancing, that means, another breathing technique, mixed and head voice ( falsetto), facial expressions etc.
