I think the reason behind TTD dying is bc of scammers and lack of new things to explore to

The game went downhill when the market place came, it literally ruined the trading plaza, and all the good units are either overpriced like uttv more than half a mil exist,really rare like the titan clover man, or are robux units like the astro, its literally impossible to be good and free 2 play without grinding all day long
ttd is to grindy now days😴
Before Easter it was easier to be good
Just do ur quest then get a leg and do harder quest then get good unit and start farming /trading
I have a engineer 2 large firework 1 mech bunny and much more and I am free to play .you just have to be lucky at marketplace to get units for cheap
Nahh all overpriced start to come when Easter update, you see you can get 2k gems for just 1 hour so I don't blame them if they overpriced it...
The peak of the game was around The Christmas upd like Christmas upd was rlly nice and everything before it too, i used to play the game sooo much but since the Christmas upd i quit straight up, tbh i miss the old upds and shis.
The game is basically mr krabs they want to get money so they add more robux things old ttd didnt have that much robux units but now they make robux units every update (sometimes)
Telenthric could've had just done mini updates like adding a new tower there are a TON skibidi toilet series not even kidding there is just alot of them or they could hire a musician to make their own music for the game in a update instead of just music they probaly found from youtube or spotify or it can also be a update that improves the quality
Bro wish we could turn back time to the good old days when it was Christmas event

i quit because coins are useless now. back then nightmare was hard, winning it was rewarding, no 6k dps mythics, game being hard still with mythics
ttd is becoming more and more boring these days, i ways grind this game 24/7, i used to love the game before endless update, but after endless got released, everything just started going down. i'm not a roblox dev but i do know how to make a game good, but with telanthric and its team doing, i may expect ttd dying around the middle of 2024 or late 2024.
the lack of features,
the unbalanced units (like if you get a mythic, expecting it to be better than you legendary, only to find out that its worse than you legendary, and you spent all those coins for nothing just hurts)
the lack of rewards the game is giving,
p2w units,
copying other games stuff (psx infinite equip to ttd's infinite unit placement, and skibidi tower defense crate features to ttd's crate feature)
oh, skibidi tower defense is more advanced than ttd, std has more features, better design, better animation, better events, accurate chances, less p2w units, less scammers, and better balancing system
im not encouraging you to play std its your choice

Too many shaders/realism *take minecraft but too realistic for example*
Frequent trade value changes
Old really valued units became worthless / useless
Game got too complex
Many spam bots
Hard to trade
Too many complex units for your brain to process
All trades too rich/no more newbie friendly trades
Map beating methods mostly require very hard to get units *like bro I began 3 days ago I don’t have godlies and mythicals to beat one single mode*
Overall: too much to process

The main reason why most youtuber are quitting because the game just TOO BORING,LOW QUALITY for tower defense catagory,lack of content, there's much more game that is better than this i will give you some example. Tower defense phantom world,tower galactic,npc tower defense,floodgate tower defense,basic tower defense. Now these are the good tower defense game, anything but skibidi toilet it sucks

I recommend you skibi defense,it's pretty cool and they actually take effort for their games(in fact,the update 3 has been delayed multiple times because they don't want a update full of bugs and with low quality,unlike TTD)
