We've been noticing a lot of comments about how unhyped the audience was in this video. We can assure you there was quite a big reaction, it's just that the mic didn't pick up too much of the audio.

their are no words to explain how hype i am for this game...this coming for a boy who played the first devil may cry when it was launched for PlayStation 2 plus this is supposed to be the final chapter in the "Sons of Sparta" story

Nobody realised that it was none other than Vergil
After playing DMC 1-4, it made me pissed I didn’t play them earlier. It became one of the most badass, fun, intense, and over the top series for me, especially 3 and 4. Now I’m excited as hell for this, especially after trying the demo.

Got it less than a month ago, and less than 24 hours was enough to make me a full blow Devil May Cry fan absolute lol (sad Capcom seems to hate money though, so barely anything I can buy for my new obsession 😢)
Can’t wait for DMC 6. And with it being around 3 years after 5 now, maybe if lucky, just 2-3 years left to wait 😅

Your reaction was great, the rest of the crowd seemed a little meh. If I was there, after 10 years of waiting, I would have jumped around screaming like I did at home watching the trailer for the first time

You need to watch other audience reactions from other locations in the theater then. The start was purely fear that it was another DmC, but when it started registering that this was DMC5, everyone goes fucking nuts.

I think they intentionally left it unclear if that Nero or reboot Dante until he revs his sword, and even then, you need to know DMC4 pretty well
The crowd was like watching an movie, and then they actually showed good reactions.

I wish I would have been a dmc fan when this dropped. Dmc 5 got me into the series and pretty much instantly became my favorite game of all time and dmc has solidified itself as my favorite video game series. The day dmc 6 is announced is the day I can rest in piece lol.
Respect for you my friend, Devil May Cry 5 is the best in the series.

well most people in that audience are definitely not "kids" also theres a matter of demographics. when dmc 4 was released most of the young xbox audience was into CoD, Halo, Gears, etc. If they showed this to the PS4 audience they probably would've flipped

I'm still disappointed for ever thinking DMC was a rhythm game series before I actually got into it. All I saw was the Dante hat dance scene and my brain immediately wrote it off as something I wouldn't play. God I'm stupid

This crowd makes me physically sick dude when I saw this i was absolutely crazy about it seeing how far the game made it.
For the first few second, i though it was dante from ninja theory, but then i realise it was nero and my disappointment turn into massive hype

When I was watching live on CZcams and saw Nero, I thought it was Donte from DmC. Was very glad to see the Red Queen and Blue Rose and the real Dante at the very end.

I expected to play the fifth part of Devil May Cry too, but I would lace one thing if Nero lost his demon arm, so he could not summon the spirit and Yamato.
