Love your accent. I wish all CZcams videos could be as straightforward and clear as this one!😊
Thank you so much for sharing this very helpful video. I am 70 yrs old and was able to change the battery myself without having to ask anyone for help

Thank you so much -- using the clip to open the casing is such a great tip! Saved me a few broken nails for sure :)

I have been struggling months trying to open this device. Thanks for your help.

Wow! Thank you so much for your video. I could not figure out how to open it. Great instructions. Used a dime to open it as I lost the silver part LOL. Put in the battery, and that's it! Now I don't have to keep getting out of the car in a winter storm. Also, thanks for showing the battery too. Great Video!! I subscribed too :)
You're welcome. I'm glad it helped. Thanks for sharing
Many thanks, it was sooooo easy to follow your instructions
you're welcome
This is just like my remote, you have a very good info video short and to the point, I would never have figured how this remote comes apart. All that was wrong with mine is somehow the battery lifted up, pushed it back down and remote works. If battery lifts up again I'll have figure out some sort of spacer inside to hold it. Thanks for posting!!!!!!!!
Thank you. I think the "spring-like" clip that holds the battery is damaged.
Thank you! Super helpful, and I appreciate the close up view.
I find the design is not very good. Each time you pry the thing open, you damage the case a little each time.
I agree. The type of plastic they are using to make these are not the best or at least suitable for sure
I know WTH 🤦🏽♂️
I know. They should probably use metal around that area
Thank you for this video. It was greatly appreciated
Well, done thank you for the video!
Thank you so much for this!
Thanks for help me out.

Thank you for this!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You're so welcome!
Great video; using a flat-head screwdriver is also another easy way to pop the case open. As I found out it's important to change the battery when it is low as the garage door can receive false open signals from a low battery remote, which will have you wondering why your garage door is wide open overnight and when you check in the morning, or whenever you are out there next.
Thanks the instructions work for my Titan gate
you're welcome

Thaaaaank you

Good video. It would have been really great to show how to test whether the battery replacement was effective. My garage is not attached to my house so I have to run outdoors to test it. Does the light on the remote turn on if the battery replacement was effective?
Thank you Lisa for your suggestion. The design of most of these remotes very simple. When the LED is lit, then battery is good. Whenever battery is running low, LED will be much dimmer.
🤩🙏💋💋 Spent way too much time looking for an implement to open the dam thing.
😀 Glad the mystery is solved 😀
Thanks for sharing! There are 3 buttons, I only use the largest one, do you know what are the other two buttons for? Thank you!
Two other buttons (smaller) are for additional garages. Perhaps you have seen some homes that has split with 1 main garage door (2 cars) and 1 smaller (1 car). Then, 1 other additional button can be used for the smaller garage door(s), assuming that they are the same brand
Does it have to be a lithium battery
I have two remotes. They both open my garage. However, one of the two is opening the neighbors garage door. Could this be a battery issue, or does it need to be reprogrammed? Or both?
it's not the battery. You're neighbor should upgrade the unit itself or reprogram his code. You just happened to grab the code as he or she was opening it. ....it's not your remote issue. it's your neighbor's unit
With a flat screwdriver much more faster to open
Thanks for your sharing
I replaced the battery, now it’s not working at all. Used same battery like yours. Any idea?
1. try a new battery.
2. check the contact inside the remote because it could be damaged
@@SnapFix did all that.
Last resort is to reprogram it @@nursesona7227
how’d you get the clip off so easily????
just slide it off. It may be tight but removable
I opened it perfectly but the lift master still wouldn’t open the garage door
you may have to reprogram it
Sooo. You forgot about the reset. Very important step. So. That’s not it..
Please tell me this step! I replaced the battery but it’s still not working
New battery didn’t work
Did you try checking the contact? Perhaps battery may be faulty as well.
@@SnapFix It required a 2032 battery. I had a 2025.
Horrific design and plastic used in this😢
Everything is designed and built with plastic including your car LOL
Beware, you have 2 or 3 times max that you can open this remote before the plastic is damaged so much that it becomes impossible to pry it open. What clown designed this?
Thank you!
