Read the book recently, a real eye opener in several ways. The biggest take home point for me was to use more time looking at opponents ressurces vs my candidate moves, the falsification process. Its effective, and easy to implement in ones thought process.

If you are interested in more complex Positions with a Super GM writing out his thoughts on it, I'd recommend the book "The Secret Ingredient" co-written by Jan Markos and David Navara. In the last chapter there are a bunch of complex positions with the solution and also the written out thoughts and solution of Navara.

That's cool, but that's not really the point of this book in this video by the way.

I was at his book launch in London and I luckily got to play against adams. It’s a great book and an even better player

Great review! The point about "falsifying" seems most important for all of us.

Hi Jesse, I would like to know, which one is easier - Think like a super gm or evaluate like a grandmaster?

Interesting comments, but in my opinion it would have been more useful to show an example position from the book and give your assessments as well as those in the book for comparison. GM John Emms and Tony Rubin did a similar book in the 1990s called Chess for the Rank and File.

I purchased the book, but sent it back immediately. It's interesting, sure, but overall way over my head.
I doubt players below 2000 level will benefit much from reading it.
