It's exterior sheds weight from the previous generation and has air-ride suspension. On the inside you will find one of the nicest truck interiors ever created. The best interior feature is the 12in vertical infotainment system. Is the the 2019 Ram 1500 Limited the BEST full size truck for your money?

19 speaker (!!??) Harmon Kardon setup but we don’t get to hear about it?! Gonna have to Zonk ya on that, Joe. 🤷♂️🤨😁
the rear does have a fold down arm rest, with storage…
instablaster.
best, most serious armrest in all of trucks
That interior is the best in the business. If I were truck shopping I’d definitely consider one. Of course I’d look at the Fords also. Nice job Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
L S I totally agree with you Larry! I’m curious what Ford is going to do on their next redesign.
The massaging seats in the F-150 platinum is what leaned me to Ford. The Ram interiors are really nice looking tho.
Finally, I knew you would come thru joe!!!! Been waiting on this one!!! Raiti's ride, The best car reviewer out there!!!🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Thanks for holding out for me! I hope it was worth the wait! I appreciate your awesome support!
Finally a real truck on this channel after a long time Raiti ... I love the rams and GMCs trucks
Sergeant Coby thanks my friend! The strike messed up the flow of GMC trucks!
Yea ikr and I didn’t hear a single zonk lol
Right 😄
Great detail in your video. I bought my first Ram ever this year. 2019 Longhorn. I must say I’m very very impressed with Ram and this truck. Still to this day I get asked a lot of questions and remarks about this truck. Got 15 k’s on my truck and no issues yet. Ram hit it out of the park for sure.
Thanks for saying that and letting me share it with you!
Thanks for bringing us this review. Great job Raitis Rides!!
Thanks for saying that Alec! I really appreciate your support as always!
I think the gauge pod looks awesome. It fits the intricate design theme of the truck overall. I'm generally a less is more kind of guy, but they executed the complex design elements throughout nicely.
Thanks for sharing your input! I always like to hear different perspectives..
Ive always been a ram truck guy, i have a 2019 north edition.. love it.. ram has the best interior.. i have the ram box system.. love it. Thanks joe.. keep up the great work
I really appreciate you saying that! Thanks for sharing some ownership input!
My favorite pickup truck! Brilliant job Joe.
A screen size that actually makes sense in this thing. I always thought 6-8 in touch screen head units in trucks just looked silly.
I totally agree with you!
Raiti's Ride you finally bring up the ram1500. I've been waiting on it. You are the best car reviewer. I can see you have love for this. Hope you get comission on it too
Thanks for waiting so long! I am still working hard to get into a Ram & Dodge dealership.
FCA could print money if they made a Escalade competitor on this chassis. This interior would be lovely in a Big SUV. Call it the Aspen, and give it a Colorado Alpine scenery inspired interior theme. Give it a EcoDiesel option as well.
A year later, welcome to the Grand Wagoneer
I was in the market for a full size pick up truck. I test drove the Ram Limited, Ram Rebel, Ford Limited, GMC Denali and the gmc AT4. I am a first time truck buyer coming from a luxury car. I agree that the Ram Limited has the best interior overall. I liked the big screen and all the usable storage space it offered. I did not like the gmc rear suspension, it was too bouncy for me and that was a deal breaker even though I loved how the Denali looked. I loved the f150 seats in the limited, they were super soft and comfortable and who doesn’t like 450hp, even though it has minor turbo lag. I am not that fond of the Ram Limited headlights. In the end, I did not choose the Ram because from my research, they do not tend to be very reliable long term, so I did not want to take a chance on it. In the end, I ended up buying the 2019 ford limited. I love it so far, but I do wish Ford would use better plastics for the steering wheel buttons and the infotainment buttons. This was just my opinion, but I chose the Ford, because it suits my needs better.
Thanks for sharing that great input John!
Interior is amazing for any type of vehicle, not just pickup. You can live in it in a Walmart parking lot.
Great review Joe!
Thanks for saying that! I really appreciate your support!
Great review Joe....if Tuscany did a build on this truck I may have to make a trade. So nice on the inside....just needs a little lift and better wheels on the outside! Love the interior! Awesome job Joe!
Great review Joe. This interior is the BAR. Full stop. Great normally aspirated motor and trans.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Love your videos especially this truck. I think you need to do a review on the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Black Edition. Strongly considering buying one. Keep doing the great vids.
Thanks Wes for your kind words and awesome support! Good luck with your search!
I agree! I always check out an R.R. Video before going to the dealership.. He definitely does his homework.
Thanks Rod that really means a lot!
Love your reviews Joe! I agree with all the Zonks! I have been eyeing this truck for a while. Test drove it and love all the luxury features on the limited Ram. However, just saw the revealing of the Ford FI50 and this has put the brakes on RAM for me until I can evaluate the new F150.
I purchased a Ford F-150 Limited after your review. You sold me on this truck because your review was
amazing. The Ford F-150 limited drives like a high end luxury car. The raptor engine has no turbo lag and the acceleration is out of this world.
Keep up your excellent reviews.
Thanks Mark for saying that! I think you did very well! I appreciate your support!
That interior! Wow!
I totally agree with you!
Joe, I love your entertaining car reviews! The big miss on this review is the large back seat armrest! One of my favorite features of the ram 1500. Also, the rear seat move forward and recline. Sorry but this was a big miss, and I look forward to your reviewing more trucks.
Would love to see these truck videos !
I like front end of this truck better than the earlier models. Great video Joe !
They did do a better job but I still prefer the look of the Ford F-150.
I have to agree with you there Joe.
It's so obvious that you try not to laugh at your own jokes and it's hilarious 😂 I love the videos 👍🏼
Thanks Timmy for saying that! I really appreciate your support!
Great job on the review,,,, I really enjoy the humor. I currently own a Laramie 2500 and a Longhorn 1500. I plan on replacing the Longhorn with another Longhorn or Limited. Once you’ve owned a Longhorn it’s hard to go with anything less.
Thanks for saying that and sharing some input from your ownership!
The best wheels in trucks, thanks my friend always the best review in CZcams I tell you you are the best , one day I want to meet you man , GOD bless you and your family
Thanks Joel! That really means a lot! I look forward to meeting you one day! Where are you located.
love the detail that when you are overspeeding on the road that speed limit sign on the navigation screen turns red
AGREED!
Joe thanks you rock man
I really appreciate that Omar! That really means a lot!
Thank You Mr. Raiti I've been waiting on your review of this truck for awhile. This will be the truck I purchase within the next few months. Your channel is AWESOME.
Maybe check out Scotty Kilmer's mechanic channel FIRST, before you buy! 🤔
ItzReece you are so very welcome Reece! You are going to love it!
@@coiledsteel8344 thanks for the info.
This kind of makes me regret getting my '18 F-150. This Ram is one super sharp truck in black and lightly used would be the one to buy too. The exterior has nice lines and the interior is best in business. 15 mpg city is really not bad for a 5.7 4x4 truck.
Thanks for letting me share it with you! I think you should still be very happy with your F-150!
Get a Platinum?
Without a doubt this is the best truck on the market!
Joe it looks like you can stand in the center console....Beautiful truck, hands down best interior
Now that is a good way of putting it! LOL Thanks for letting me share it with you!
What’s up Raiti big fan down here in Florida.
I love this car everything about it. You should look into reviewing the trim before this one the Laramie Longhorn edition. It comes with a cowboy-esque theme on the inside. Longhorns can bring all the features as a limited. If you add the Sunroof and some Ram boxes!?
Oof that’s my dream car rn :)
Interior is beautiful in this truck the best.
You said it right!
The interior isd the reason I bought a 2019 Bighorn back in July. I LOVE driving this truck... he is right, Best interior in the business
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I appreciate you watching!
Beautiful interior. 👍
Great Review
Thanks Jerald for letting me show it to you!
Best and most beautiful truck of 2019
I'm on a hunt for a RAM 1500 right now ... but in a lower trim ... like the Big Horn (hope to get a 2019 in December for a good price) ... I was looking for a F150 at first, but the same body style over 6 years now ... I expect a new one for 2021... I guess the Ford will come out very soon next year, so it would not been fine to have bought a OLD style truck so soon ... and the RAM looks so modern since 2019 ...
By the way - thanks for the great and detailed review
That is a very good point Frank! Good luck with your search!
Very cool to see a Ram 1500. I test drove it earlier this year when I was in the market. I ended up going with a F150 in the end. I dig them both and the Ram’s interior was as amazing as you described it. Regardless of brand it’s great to see them trying to beat each other out and giving us better products each year. Hint hint Toyota, it’s your turn!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one Pierre!
How come you ended up going with the f150? Thanks in advance
MonkeyDoubleBackFlips Regarding the trucks themselves I really liked both for different reasons. Could have gone either way. In my area I felt comfortable how the local Ford dealer treated me and went about the sales process. The local Dodge/Chrysler dealer was the typical scripted dealer schemes and forced added dealer options. It was the treatment from the dealership and straight forward pricing from ford that made me go the way I did.
My 2019 Ram 1500 has the 12 inch screen. Since i love tech I had to have the big screen, but I really wish I had gotten the 8.4 inch screen. The 12inch screen is to distracting while driving and some days it goes out and reboot itself while driving. People always are like wow when they see it. I had an older 2016 Ram 1500 that had the 8.4 Uconnect and it was so much easier to use and I was able to keep my eyes on the road.
The rear seats also recline, huge selling point for a mom with kids that fall asleep in the car!
Great review, as usual. Raiti, I think you should do a 2020 Ram Limited Black Edition with the E-torque system, that would be perfect.
About this one, I thought the back seat had a center folding armrest, if not, there is one in the new one, the 2020!
I will be bringing more Rams to you! Thanks for the compliment!
@@RaitisRides I'll be waiting for the rams reviews. Saludos desde México!
Theres no way whoever traded in this truck saw this video and didnt try to get his truck back! Great video!
That was awesome, I would go with RAM 1500 Limited.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
traded in my oil burning 19 F-150 Limited in for this truck and has not burnt a drop of oil in 3k miles.. it has a arm rest in the back seat when you pull the middle strap down Raiti,... and that truck does not have the e torque in it so its not a mild hybrid like mine..great review Raiti ..thumbs up brother..
Thanks for that great ownership input and I appreciate the extra info!
RAM-1500 KING OF TRUCKS how ya doing Ram King? How is that white beauty Limited treating ya? This weekend on the highway I averaged 19.4 miles per gallon doing 105 kilometres on cruise. Not that bad for a Hemi
I own a ford truck and really wanted to get a ram before getting my current 2019 F 150...then the recalls for incomplete welds on rear axles of the ram,etc...along with regular reports of electrical issues...the dream of picking up a ram limited vaporized..got into a Ford and love it, rock solid and with an upgrade to the shocks and struts the Ford is as good as it gets...do prefer the ram interior but not if I have to deal with electrical gremlins in the amazing center stack head unit of theirs...
@@pic6162 In fact, almost worry free, worth a good amount in my book. Let's not forget the better fuel mileage, I'm driving a 2019 Limited with the HO 3.5 tt, love the power and fuel mileage, would not be able to say that as much about the RAM, although the sound of that 5.7L V8 is special.
For full-sized trucks, I'm more of a Ford person. But I still loved the video, Joe!!!
GhostPanda X AGREED!
I have one, and there is a lot of road noise, it's not as quite as it should be....but I still love it...
I really enjoy your intelligence and wit! The periodic table. They should create a new element: ramium.
Thanks Dexter! I like what you did there!
I would definitely consider either the Limited or the Laramie Southwest Edition.
The amount of luxury in the Ram is ridiculous!!! An extremely nice truck indeed. My uncle has a Ram limited and it is wonderful, especially considering that the brand offers a Hybrid power train. I hope other truck brands, (other than now Ford) include a Hybrid version as well. It's one of the best in the business. However, the Tundra is still my favorite truck.
Back seat does have an arm rest. The middle has a pull down storage that is a storage, and arm rest and additional cup holders.
love the truck man
Side note, this truck does not have etorque because you can clearly see the alternator etorque replaces. The etorque V8 gets 17 city, same highway. This is because the non Etorque does not have start/stop as you should have noticed in your filming
Edit 1: the tiny cubby on top of the console is designed to be able to hold like a tablet or small hybrid laptop and charge it
Edit 2: the whole center seat in the rear folds down for 2 cup holders and 2 storage bins. The rear seats also recline which is class exclusive
Edit 3: RAM is officially its own brand. FCA did this because they were going to close down Dodge, but sales of the Charger and Durango saved the brand, and then SRT had a field day with hellcats as so Dodge is now here to stay. But yes RAM is 100% its own brand now, and as a reviewer I think it would be good for you to acknowledge that, especially with how popular pickup trucks are here in the USA.
I really appreciate your expert insight James! Thank you for taking the time to share it!
“You get a Periodic table. Which is nice to have when your driving down the road “ 😂
Dodge may have the best interior I hate to admit, but I’d still only drive a Ford. Dodge has a terrible resale value
Thanks for letting me share the laughs with you! I totally agree with your points!
J. MTZ Actually the resale value of the F150 is worst than Ram 1500 there is a channel Big Truck SUV Talk or something like that and he showed all the trucks and how they lose value and the F150 lost the Most at 45% of their initial value at the same time Ram was around 42% or 43 something like that . Toyota Tacoma was the top truck with only about 30% of value loss .
@Bill H yup
Dodge used to have poor resale years ago when they weren't competitive. Now they are the fastest growing truck brand and very loyal customers. Looking at used ones and the prices, resale seems to be quite good.
I'd put my money on a RAM. There isn't much between the big three manufacturers' pickups, but I love the way RAM is doing things. PLUS, to get a better ride, you pretty much have to go to a luxury sedan.
Btw, RAM does offer the retractable step-up, but I don't see any reason to get that feature.
Thanks for sharing that input Mick! I really appreciate it!
The middle seat in the back folds down with more cup holders, console space, and arm rests.
Thanks for that info!
Guy did a great review.
Key feature you missed....the back seats recline which is awesome!
And has a fold down armrest which he said it dosnt have
I believe the back seat does have an armrest. The middle seat comes down like the front bench seats in some trucks. I have my dream truck and it's a bighorn Ram 1500.
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I appreciate you watching!
Awwww man you finally got your hands on one :(
I was a Ford guy, but after this video I'm getting a Ram!!!
i have the 19rebel.and my exhaust sounded like that.sounds like a "Sedan".but not for long,i installed the "BorlaAtak".then it sounded like a "ram"and still have plenty of room for my cigars😄👍!
Love this truck would like to own one in the future. Same model please
Thanks for letting me share it with you Michael!
Please do a review of the 2021 RAM Longhorn
Great review , have a nice week , could you review a fiat 500 abarth to a mini cooper jcw?
Thanks for saying that Gabriel! I hope you have a great week as well. I will try to get those two pocket rockets together!
I got a FTS 14nch lift on my 19 ram on 42s and I daily it. I just jump on the back bumper when i need to grab something from the bed. Yes i do have airbags front and rear.
Thanks for sharing that great info!
real nice
Ram does offer a fold up step that mounts on the left rear and swings down to allow easier access to the tailgate. It is an option and all you have to do is ask, and thou shalt recieve. Mine works great!
And for the record, the truck in this video does NOT have the E-torq mild hybrid system. It is the standard 5.7 engine. The E-torq has a very large alternator and is liquid cooled.
Ram sells a fold down step to get it the bed that's easy to screw on. Fold down rear middle seat for arm rest, storage, and extra cup holders in rear. Rear seats recline too! Etorque is for smoothing out gear changes and more power off the line not real hybrid. It also enables the engine start stop making it better than the competitors start stop. Also has a button to disable that vs installing a device to disable start stop in Ford.
It should come with it from the factory!
@@RaitisRides especially because I've seen them under 200 bucks for a msrp 67k truck....
I'm personally still torn between the Ram limited and the king ranch with the fx4 package... Fully realizing technology wise, the 1500 limited is unbeatable
There is a armrest for back seat, pull the cable to the top left of the middle seat, the whole thing middle will fold down.
Thanks for the info! I appreciate it!
The best truck is the one that one likes best.
Very good point!
Beautiful Beautiful ram 1500 limited
I am so glad that you liked it!
i'm not a Ram person but damn !!! that Truck look super awesome . i only question long term ownership how it will stand ?!! otherwise i would like to own one really
Nice design
I am so glad that I could share this one with you!
As a former Tundra and Colorado now Ram owner with great things to say about all - haters gunna hate - Ram brass have seriously revamped and listened. Alot of companies use the jargon “we listened to our customers blah blah” but stand back... Get a pencil and paper and look at the stats. Dodge was def a caveman truck in late 90s that was noteable if you stuck into a diesel plow truck. Todays Ram is a lifetime ahead of that era and make no mistake, the Ford and Chev and Toyo are all geat trucks and you will have a awesome ownership in any of the big brands, but Ram took the brawn factor like tow and torque and size and polished it with today’s sappy crap like tech and mpg and handling and feel. It is simply not enough o have quality now. Or torque. Or mpg. It IS a balance of all of it and I personally think even the old school Dodge haters are catching on.. Ram has taken note on what everyone has done right and they made a plan and went for the throat on what works and they are offering a deadly hazard to all other brands at this point. Again.. lots of names are doing great things but make no mistake, the Ram has simply pounded roots into the daily driver/wife drives it/load the box/tow/mpg/cabin noise/tech/quality/handling/fit and feel aspect. Drive one. It is THE current benchmark. Owned three now. Not a single dash light on, never left on a road, not a drop of oil, mpg in fact better than est but im old and drive like a Dad.. no rust issues, no leaks, no creaks.. Very, very impressed and happy to say I am an owner. Well deserved kudos.
Thanks for sharing that great ownership from your experience Rick! I really appreciate it!
Hi Joe, excellent video. I really liked the interior of the Dodge Ram, the front part of the body line of head light, I loved it. About the dash area, I like the design, around the touchscreen very comfortable and easy to use. But i think Ford trucks have a long history of offering good products and have been improving their technology and mechanics, Ford has better reliability than the Dodge Ram. Dodge Ram is very good truck. In this case, I prefer the Ford F-150. Thank you for the video Joe.
Hi Omar! Thank you for letting me share this one with you! I appreciate your input!
You need to read the J.D. Power and Consumer's Guide truck reliability data. The Ram is best followed by the Tundra then the Ford!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ the sound, looks, V8!!!!!!!!!!& not just that it's a fricking HEMI 😵😵☠☠☠☠☠☠. I know that this Ram is the top dog of them all when comparing it to the F-150 etc...... but I'm strictly a Ford guy & always will be ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. The amount of technology your getting, the pleasing aesthetics, fit & finish is absolutely mind altering blowing 🤯🤯🤯. 1 Dodge product I would love to see is a 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Manual / Automatic 1 day. Thanks Joe. Maybe 1 day 🤔🙏🏼.
Good call my friend! I am working my tail off to get into a Dodge dealership!
@@RaitisRides Oh for real cause u did a Redeye Challenger 1 time. I think that was at a Dodge dealership??.
I have a 2014 Silverado LTZ and I love it. I wanna get a Ram or a Raptor
I would go Raptor all day long!
@@RaitisRides I'll get a Raptor when you get one for Mrs. Raiti. Lol
I commented on matt marans channel. Told him you guys should make a video together. He said you two met! Thats pretty cool.
That is so awesome of you to do! Yeah him and I just met at the Civic Si media launch. I am sure we will get something together! Thanks for having my back!
Raiti's Rides of course man ! I remember when you had like 6k subs!
It's a great truck until the computer systems crap out or the engine has some sort of failure. Also, I'm seeing a lot of the very recent FCA vehicles rusting out already here up north. They don't seem to learn. They look great but what are looks when it's falling apart?
You forgot the reclining feature in the back seat and the middle seat in the back comes down to a center console/ arm rest
Thanks for that extra info! I really appreciate your help!
Rams make the best trucks on the road
This truck does not have the eTorque system which would bump it up to 17/22 mpg.
The body color bumper package really is a let down compared not having that option and in my opinion looks way better without it. (chrome bumpers)
There is a corner step option for getting in the truck bed but most of these truck do not have that option for some reason.
Overall great review I have been waiting for you to review a limited for a long time. :)
Thanks for the info Nathan and sharing your great comments! Trust me I have been trying so hard to get into a Ram dealership! I hope this opens some doors for me!
I definitely would go with a ram my grandfather drove two of them before he passed away and I think I would go for a Ram pickup
Thanks for letting me share this one with you Daniel.
How did you miss the armrest in the back lol!
Ford guy but your videos rock
Thanks Man! I love the Ford trucks more!
Hey Joe I personally would go for the same trim level Ram. However I would black it out, I'm not a fan of Chrome. Also there is an Option to get in and out of the bed it's called "Deployable Bed Step" which should be standard in my option. I also feel the 1 thing i'll give to FORD F150, there Eco Boost engine will give the same tow if not more than the Hemi V8. I do feel Dodge/Chrysler Jeep/Ram should experiment with a 10 speed transmission especially in the Ram truck for better fuel economy .
That step should not be an option, especially on the Limited trim.
Haven't seen any comments noting it's NOT a mild hybrid. You can see it has a normal alternator. Pretty easy to distinguish the hybrid from non-hybrid. Overall, great review though.
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I really appreciate you watching!
Hey Joe, I wonder why the previous owner decieded to let go of this incredible pick-up luxury truck?
They actually bout a BMW X7!
Ram interiors excellent. Although that turn knob shifter seems annoying.
I thought you would cover SEMA more in depth, you need to review the audience opinion like a poll to vote you know.... thanks a lot again
“The periodic table, nice for when your driving down the road” 😂💀
Right...you aren't driving a REAL truck unless it has a periodic table. Wonder why nobody thought of it sooner?
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you!
Do I get the credit? LOL
