I wish more reactors would do Cleanse the Bloodlines by UTA, not only a great song with killer vocals, but the video itself is a cinematic masterpiece, the storyline and video quality is amazing.

Brittney is a vocal general, her voice soars and her presence inspires you to battle. Their song Time Stands Still is another great illustration of both her voice and the palpable leadership that she conveys through music.

Unleash the Archers said they were busy recording vocals for their next album, 6 days ago. And they'd finished a video which should hit CZcams any day now. They warned that Britney's lyrics are nerdier than ever. :P

The band played this during their last tour only a year and a half ago and Brittney sounded even better. Still hitting those high notes. She's a beast.

Edit: when you said it sounded like Grant was speaking in Parseltongue, that was actually Grant and Andrew. Both guitarists use “unclean vocals”. And the layering around Brittany, she calls that her Brittany Choir.

This is actually one of my least favorite UTA songs (although the video is one of my favorites) - much prefer Abyss and Cleanse the Bloodlines

You should totally check out Brittany singing Queen of Reich karaoke and her Brindisi opera battle. UTA has so many good songs to choose from.
"Awakening" and "Tonight We Ride" get most of the views, but I agree with many others that you definitely should check out some of their older songs (older than these two at least), three of those would be "Test Your Metal" and "General of the Dark Army", Brittney's pushing some great notes in both of them, and also "Cleanse the Bloodlines", which is even more melodic and powerful but often overlooked, and if I may add another one, a little bit more recent, would be their rendition of "Northwest Passage" which is originally an acapella song by Stan Rogers, they've done a great version of it !
I was never really into metal music until I heard this band a few years ago. I binged a lot of their videos and then saw them in concert in Austin. They are incredible and as every bit as good in person.
Her highs are epic. But she's got a super rich and warm low range
I've seen them live a few times, and Brittney can hit all those notes live, too!
Would still love to see you check out their cover of Northwest Passage since you are Canadian as well. Aside from that they have so many other great songs you could check out. Cleanse the Bloodlines, Faster Than Light, Abyss, Legacy, Test Your Metal, etc. Plus they should have new music coming very soon.

So the cool thing about this album is it's an entire story. She did an interview talking about the whole story and going through the details of it you should check it out. It gives you a whole new appreciation for her song writing.

Glad to hear you really getting into prog/power metal. Personally, I really love "Dreamcrusher" by Unleash The Archers. It really shows off the band's full range, and there's a good live vid on CZcams. I would also STRONGLY recommend checking out Seven Spires and Ad Infinitum. Two newer bands with amazing (and versatile) vocalists, and phenomenal musicians as well.
Yep, Adrienne Cowan from Seven Spires is amazing. Also the band plays a lot of styles, which is great. And their albums are all concept albums, doubles the fun.
Melissa Bonny is a great singer too, in a ton of projects.

I seen these guys live in their hometown of Vancouver! I even has personalized merch from them which is sick. I have their Apex album signed by everyone with gold sharpie, then I also have a poster that was signed and had a personalized message from Brittney based on a conversation her and I had through the bands social media. I love it when bands get super personal with their fans! Especially when they're fellow BC folk 👌🤘🖤

Just made the end of the premiere,where you pointed out the blonde guy. Thats Grant Truesdell (well,i consider him more of a dark blonde haired guy,going on light brown maybe?),i know him very well from spending many many hours chatting with him on Twitch during the pandemic up till this very day,amazing guy (they all are,and Brittney is absolutely fantastic on all areas) I do believe they went for a massive Mad Max inspiration shooting this,i seem to remember Grant mentioning it alright. I know it's not nearly as popular a song as some of the other people are listing, but I personally love "Test Your Metal" by UTA. It's a great song and she slams right straight out of the gate, and she gets pretty high on that one, too.

Brittney Slayes (what a name) is amazing. My highest recommendations go to Cleanse the Bloodlines by them. Epic.
A few other recos : Semblant - Dark of the Day (brazillian metal band, co lead singers, sultry Mizuho and growling Sergio with some vampire shit thrown in )
Epica - The Skeleton Key (so many amazing Epica songs but this is a great one, or Storm the Sorrow, which has one of the most amazing videos too) and your list is missing Within Temptation (another Symphonic/gothic metal queen in Sharon Den Adel) Recommend Angels , Mother Earth, or The Purge.
