I am really happy as a latin person how americans are enyoying the beautiful game soccer Minnesota is on fire.
Just started watching MLS last year and LOVE it. Gonna jump on the EPL this year. Even started playing soccer on Sundays w some friends. It's blowing up here in the states 😎
@@michaelanthony6274 yo that's awesome! Definitely watch European though haha. I love MLS for what it is but once the EPL season starts my attention is all on that. The difference in quality is far too great
Was at this match, couldn't even hear the whistle over the yelling and singing. Beautiful sport and crazy match.
@@matthewbreneman691 Sure, but for me it is EPL/Bundesliga in the Mornings and then MLS in the Afternoons. Vamos Atlanta.
I m from France . you have a pretty cool atmosphere at home M United, maybe football is very popular in your city
Its starting to grow in popularity. Helps when your team is winning and you have a brand new stadium!
I was thinking the same thing. I was really impressed with the fan base and venue.
As a native Minnesotan it makes me so proud to hear football fans in other countries say they are impressed with our stadium and fans.
MN has a pretty big group of minorities, also a big Soccer influence with our USA cup which has gone on for a long time. We were long overdue for an MLS team! Just needed the funding and the proper boost
hold on, is minnesota even a city ?
isn't that a state ?
Dallas gets nervous when they aren’t playing in front of a sea of red(empty)seats
From here in PDX, I approve of this comment! ;)
Dallas needs to move
@@uzoma1541 they won't they just dumped money into renovating the stadium
Quite possibly the worst VAR review ever.
Got my vote. 100% right.
no i have seen worse
It's Toledo. Any chance to make a flashy game changing call and he'll take it. You see him wanting to make the call on the field and thinking "nah, it'll be more dramatic if I VAR this". He's a predictably awful ref.
No there have been far worse
I love Allianz Field it looks nice, especially at night
Joshua Simmons you’re are everywhere go back to ATL 😂
@@thespanishbull7955 I typed this in Atlanta
Sell out games all year long
Damn I like to see Minnesota win
They are a really fun team! And that crowd is nuts
Good place to call Home. Bout time they start winning! 7
I like the MN commentators and am impressed with the stadium atmosphere. MU are on fire!
Yeah i hope they hold a playoff spot just love the team
@Zaki Ahmed should i do a video on it?
@Zaki Ahmed ok as you wish Subscribe so you don't miss it😊
I love how that guy rhymed after that goal
MNUFC but yeah
Think I can say mn United has the best fans in the whole mls
Erick Gomez-Mendez it’s between Minnesota, Atlanta, Seattle and LA Galaxy.
@@captainkirk197 SKC and Portland belong in there.
Twin cities 181818 GALAXY?!?!? 😂😂😂
Ikr, but maybe Atlanta, Seattle & LAFC also
Alex Beltran bro Galaxy have a huge fan base. May non sell out but their stadium gets packed
god damn what a match. one of the best of the year in MLS
Ending was good. Rest of game was atrocious
It rivals any EPL game both in atmosphere, play and fans.
Omg what a fu🤯king game, yo hands down vito mannone deserves player of the week. That man was a wall at the back for Minnesota United dam🤯🤯🤯
I have to admit Mannone player one hell of a game! I was fuckin pissed when he saved Reto Ziglers penalty kick!
Hakuna Matata YOU GARBAGE FOO!
Minnesota will make playoffs. Mark my words
I feel like God entered Vito's body thinking no way...I've got to make this right.
Lexington Leffall honestly I think they might. Winning it tho idk.
Just Things ibrahmi realizes it’s probably his last season and he’s playing like it. the western final will probably be la galaxy/lafc to determine who ultimately wins mls, but if we could make the quarters of the playoffs and take the us open, i think that would be an absolute dream season for us.
Thank You MNUFC....
That was'nt Minnesota party , thats was manone show . what a save!!
Galaxy fan here. Glad to see Minnesota had turned it around. Great job all-around.
Damn the atmosphere, feels like premier league
Baldomero Toledo is such an absolutely atrocious referee.
How he continues to be in a job is beyond me.
Every single time I watch a match he has refereed, he has made a game-changing error.
Fire that man.
GOOD GOD! He is unfit mentally!!
OH WHEN THE LOONS GO MARCHING IN
Minnesota stadium has feels like a premier league atmosphere
Minnesota got some fight
Manone has been on fire lately!
Minnesota are on form and that's great 🔥🔥 , but the peanlty saved made me lose a lot of money on my ticket 😢😢
VITO FREAKING MANNONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great performance from Minnesota!! I wish we could play again!
Great crowd
have you seen that stadium.? we, the rest of the world have created a monster with mls...!
Imagine being 6 minutes into stoppage time, you concede a penalty, *and* save it to win your team the game 🥵
Legit almost lost my voice after Vito saved that PK
I like this commentator
indagame9 the guy can rhyme
“A goal from your MAN the MAN from Minnesota MAN CATCH THEM IF YOU CAN!!”
DAMN!!!!!
Minnesota r starting to be really good I think they will make the playoffs but get knocked out in the first round mark my words
Not too bad for an expansion team in that market. Last season they were a pushover and added excellently to get these scrappy wins. Plus the new home stadium is LIT.
Tbh i don't think Minnesota should not get knocked out in the first round.
I think they will make the semi-final actually, if they keep this form that they have
Lol all Minnesota teams get knocked out early especially when the are good
@@owennord7203 Yea exactly, i don't think they gonna make it all the way to the MLS Cup, but if they did, cause i'm a MNUFC fan, i would be shocked and surprised
On that first shot from Quintero, I feel like he just has to put power on that. With defenders on the line like that it is hard to try and be accurate so he just has to put all of his power on that. I know it doesn’t really matter because min got the win but I guess it would have saved them from stressing out on that final pen
I think finaly should have just shut off the bat he had momentum and power, when he passed it to Quintero there were no openings
But it made the game exciting at the end
Andrew 4 They’ve had a lot of luck as a team the last few games when it comes to taking your time in front of the net and taking their time, but I agree
I was at this match and when Mannone made that save the place absolutely erupted
Is Heath coaching really well this year?
3:38 my man tried to floop 😂😂
Oof
That goal - what's interesting is that is came after 2 sequential rebounds. So, if there is a lesson here, it is to take shots, even from far away, as even misses create opportunities which can lead to other opportunities. Soccer is really a game of "opportunity management". It is very unpredictable.
But why is it like that ?
@@themlszone6961 Why is it about opportunities? A lot of reasons. The ball is hard to control so there is more unpredictability with where it will go. Many people on a big space with high randomness. So its about trying to control the ball, tempo, space, and finding weaknesses in the opponent and/or pressuring them so that they make mistakes that can be exploited.
"Make the keeper make the save"
@@midwestgent9618 yep. and often the keeper will hit it away and then the offense can score on the rebound
VAR is awesome.
Very, did you like that save?
eder catalan So are last minute penalty saves
"And after all, Vito's a brick wall"
MANONE!!!!!
I was there live it was lit our goaly was a god and Mason Toye scored our only point though

@@domc9026 oh man you want me to do a video on your team ?
new soccer stadium in ST.PAUl is excellent
WOW!
It's striking that in really close calls on penalties, the ball never lies.
Obvious PK's typically go in, but those PK calls that are really questionable, it's like a 20% success rate for goal conversion.

Just waiting for Miami’s team because they will own every team in mls just wait and see
Nah they lost there play in
Toye and Gasper are on fire send them to Europe

how the linesman fail to see the striker is offside?
trorisk because the defender attempts to play the ball it negates the offside, if it hadn’t been touched or it deflected they would be off, but he tried to play it so they are on

I don't want to come off as sexist but I notice a lot of MLS games now have a lot of former female players calling games. What insight can a female player give on men's professional soccer? They are two different sports practically. I get it the US is good at female soccer, but that is because the rest of the world never cared about it until three years ago, it is still an amateur sport around most of the world, only two or three countries put serious money into female and this lack depth is the reason female soccer is a much lower standard soccer. So female player offers no further insight than a man playing pick up games in the park because they are playing at the same level of soccer. It is part of US media conspiracy to try and frame soccer as a girls game to undermine the growth of soccer popularity with boys and men. You don't get WNBa players commentating on NBa games so why does it happen for the MLS?
Of course there's a difference between men's and women's soccer... but suggesting that they're 'different sports' is a silly exaggeration. Also, are you saying that the only people who deserve to comment on sports are former men's professional players? I'm not to be an asshole, but I'm guessing you wouldn't bat an eye if there was a broadcasting male who never played a day past high school or college.
My problem is overall a lot of the American male broadcasters suck in general...I just want people who understand the sport and cast it well. These two are the best duo in the MLS right now so I have no qualms with it. I do get what you're saying though, but at the same time it doesn't make much sense. I can analyze the sport pretty damn well and I got kicked from the USL only a month in. Does that mean my understanding of the game is worse because of it? Not really, it just means I didn't have the skills or the health necessary to continue on.
@@Spiffy141 I have no problem with female professional broadcaster being the main commentator because that is more presenting skills. But the co-commentator is always a former pro who has played at the same level of the players you are watching giving you an insight on what you are watching. a female player is not qualified to be that co-commentator because they never played at that level of soccer. I also do complain about men too. I dislike the co-commentator Robbie Savage because he was a mediocre player who played for small teams his whole career. But because he is very opinionated he got co-commentator jobs for CL matches a level he never played at during his career and has been called out by many star players saying how can comment on their games when he was an average player
I take it you haven't watched a lot of Loons matches. Kyndra is one of the best in the business. She just got back from working on World Cup matches.
@@iamjamesmix a co-commentator speaking from relevant experience will always be better than a former pro making assumptions because they level played at that level.
Why do we need female commentators in a men’s match?
I didn't realize men's and women's soccer were totally different. : P
Kyndra is one of my favorite color commentators in MLS. The past few weeks she was in France as part of the broadcast team for the World Cup and I definitely missed her presence in the booth. MNUFC also has a female head trainer. Can you believe that? Like, oh my gosh, how could a girl take care of boys who get injured playing soccer?
I think the better question is 'why does it bother you so much?'
Why does it matter? She's great at what she does.
What the f is your deal? Get over yourself...
