You're absolutely right about Texas beaches not having that nice smell of salt water to them. Texas beaches just are not that pleasant to go to, go to a beach in Florida or California, or even the beaches on the great lakes and they're so much nicer than anything in Texas.
Great vlog! That secret seating area is nice to know about. Also, I'm sure you know, but you can schedule when your videos go live, so you aren't stuck uploading at a certain time of day.

@Mallory, my last experience at Houston wasn't one I'd like to have repeated. My plane landed in C terminal, and I had to get over to B for my connecting flight What I didn't know was that the gate had been switched to B-5! I only had a short time to get there, but ended up getting lost. I finally made it to B-81, only to find out about said change. At that point, it was 10 minutes to loading. I told the nearest attendant how I had gotten lost
I'm so glad you still made your flight! I'm sorry it was such a mess. I always remind passengers to check their airline app because gate changes happen often. A tip for the future, you can request wheelchair assistance even if you don't necessarily need one for mobility reasons. Wheelchair assistance can be very helpful if you are visually impaired. An attendant will help you to your next gate🙂

You have to leave home awfully early due to commuting. No wonder you prefer longer trips to get your hours more concentrated. Still, does it ever get annoying? (Or do you always manage the extra wait with useful stuff?)
Plus you got the Nespresso machine in your hotel room working, that’s a win 🎉
It was good but not $17 good😂 My duty day wasn't 23 hours. Probably about 13 hours but I had been awake for quite awhile before I had to report for work! & yes it's extremely annoying😂 but I've always been a commuter so it all I really know so it's not so bad. It does give me lots of extra time to get CZcams work done before my trips though. I'm always more productive when I'm away from home.

I rarely eat airline food. I bring most of my meals from home and keep them on ice in my lunchbox! I've never gotten sick from anything I've eaten at work!

No!! I just have my alarm really loud
Some FAs have multiple alarms, which shows how critical not sleeping through an alarm. Plugfones makes a wireless Bluetooth in-ear earplug earbud.
