    Hello dear Peta, Just started doing the facial exercises last week and my husband, who rarely notices anything about me, commented that he could see positive changes in my face. His comment was less than one week after I started. I believe him because he's not the kind of guy to just say something like that. I've 58 and have recently lost 15 pounds and feel like I'm, with your help, having a "Benjamin Button" experience. Much love to you dear Peta!

    I can feel my eyeball muscles working hard. But it feels wonderful afterward. It really relaxes the eyes after working in front of the Computer. I did this when I was younger but then I forgot about it. Great tip to improve the eye sight with eye exercises. I will check the link in the information box. Thank you Peta ! Have a great day in Australia!!

    eyes seem to have creases at sides. I shall see what happens since listened minute ago to your impressive exercises.

    Me again Peta. I was just following you with this exercise. I had a street attack where is was hit round the right side of my head by the side of my right eye,with an iron bar. The 10 year nerve healing is nearly up .Is it safe for me to do this exercise? I'd really love to get rid of the eye hoods. The one on the right side is worse due to the skull fracture.Also ,obviously I'm in the mnopause,you know how that effects the face plumpness..sigh lol :) I think my facial muscles are just very weak. I remembr how weak my body muscles were to start out with.Is this the same principle? I love his idea as its natural :)

Yes, you can gently start to do the exercises, in fact it should help build those muscles again. The next one to watch is this one - czcams.com/video/VMKIOTbNyJg/video.html, it will help you learn how to move your focus around your face to make your face exercise more effective. I hope that helps!

    PETA, question: I had to have surgery on lower lids as they were drooping down, exposing the whites of my eyes. I looked like I was on drugs or something. They put a cadavers sterilized piece of skin in to build a scaffold to hold up my lid. After a few years they are starting to droop again. Can I physically tighten them again through exercise. Also they say I have Ptosis which my levelator muscle is weak, causing my upper lids to droop over the pupil of my eye, causing me to have to look through my lashes. I don’t want anymore surgery. Which exercises are best for my problems? Can they help or will I need surgery? Also, my eyes feel stiff and uncomfortable when I do those eye exercises of looking up, down and to sides. Is this normal? Thank you for your exercises. I’m going down fighting, ha ha.

    • @facerobics
      @facerobics  Před 2 lety

      Hi Julie, firstly I am so sorry you are experiencing this. It must be so distressing. I am not a GP so my advice is limited on this matter. However, I need to let you know that the muscles are attached to the bone, the only place in the body that this happens. Therefore if you can exercise the muscles, the skin may stretch subtly over the muscle. However it depends on how much skin you have there. If there is excessive skin, it may not work. Depending on how long ago you had the surgery, possibly start the whole program from Series 1 and when you get to your eyes, be very gentle when you do the exercises and over time it may work. You will need to manage your expectation however, and the surgery should be 2 years ago before you do it at very minimum. Its your decision however as always 💖

      @@facerobics
      Thank you for your speedy answer PETA. So nice to know there are caring people still out there. So sweet.
      My surgery was several years ago. I don’t have excess skin. My lower lids just kind of sag down, like some one is pulling on them to look at my eye. I actually have hollows under my eyes, not excess skin. My upper lids don’t have extra skin hanging down over my lids either. It’s just the muscle that lifts your lid is weak. It’s still there because I can open my eyes really wide on purpose, but in just the relaxed, normal position it’s hanging down like I’m sleepy. It isn’t being forced down by excess skin. I will try your series 1 exercises and see if that helps. Thank you for the advice. I know you are not giving medical advice, just suggestions from someone who understands the anatomy of facial muscles and kindly sharing your knowledge. Did you have an opinion if it’s normal for my eyes feeling kind of stiff or restricted when I try to look up, down, or sideways?

      Julie, i sent you a link to how to follow the program and where to start around 2 weeks ago when you asked before. Here it is again - here is the Facerobics Program and how to follow it properly - renewme.com.au/where-to-start-and-how-to-use-the-facerobics-face-exercise-program-for-your-face-exercise-success/. With this program you must be doing a full face routine, if you don’t, you run the risk of causing more sagging and wrinkling of the skin. This is because the program is a very strong exercise program. Everything, along with the Exercise Along With Me videos are in the playlists on this channel. Make sure to work thru the series as instructed starting from Series 1 to Series 6. When you get to Series 6 (if there is not a new series) start at Series 1 again and move thru the program again. All of the explanation videos are in the information bar at the top right hand corner of the video, the little circle, just click on it, or in the playlists on the channel. Also if you haven’t already remember to subscribe and hit the notification bell also, as the program is forever evolving and you could miss out on updates. I would encourage you to go to the playlists and watch the beginner videos, and techniques before you start.
