You were calculating more in your head than in your words today haha
Haha, why do you think that? :)
I think it will be better the proposed moves were played instead of using lines
That way we will see it well
I can try that, thanks for the suggestion!
By playing proposed moves defeats the purpose of the calculating exercise
@doffdrayton1302, I also thought so. So what is the solution then?
@@journeytograndmaster Teaching a man to fish for life is better than giving him a fish for a day😁
Good
Love your stuff and getting to hear your thoughts but still struggled to follow once you were giving the lines/reason bishop e7 didnt refute queen f6, because bishop e7 is why i dismissed queen f6 as an option. I'm only 1600 rapid, and i know when you're on a level so much more advanced than me it's hard to explain to someone like me, but going a little slower on that part and pausing to show why would help. Players at my level and below really struggle to visualize multiple moves ahead with just lines/arrows and sometimes i need to physically see the pieces move to fully understand it and see it.
All that said, love the content and ill probably rewatch this 3 more times to try and fully understand it.
Thanks a lot!
So you suggest to always make moves instead of drawing the lines?
Because the point is actually to calculate without moving the pieces. I did my best to slow down and repeat the lines multiple times :)
I always welcome your feedback!
Also any delusions i had about ever getting to 2k elo just went out the window
That's absolutely unnecessary, you definitely can get there!
With the help of this channel sooner than later :)
This is a complicated position
I don't even know what the first move is
Have you tried to solve it yourself? What was your move?
I thought there was a system or some order, this look very much to the same disorder I have in my head
Thanks for your criticism.
Why does this look like a disorder to you?
I calculated the position following a clear structure which helped me to find the right solution. At least, that is how I see it. Of course, I am not perfect, just sharing my thought process.
Where am I wrong?
@@journeytograndmaster I've realised your channel is not quite for my level. I've found it hard to follow, that's all. I'll give it another try once I get better. All the best
@@pablojr1971 sorry about it. It is just this video, that is for more advance players.
I have a lot of videos for beginner-intermediate level. Please take a look at it, you will find a lot of useful information and tips :)
Levi needs to get this chessboard
Haha, why is that? :)
