I remember the first time in Norway, I saw the airport’s premium quality of wood work, metal and concrete, I knew this is a beautiful country. I can go for ages about their nature, so green and the oceans/islands/waterfalls/fjords genial heimlich!
I absolutely love the mellow, uncontested feel of this city. I was born and raised in a South Bronx tenement slum in the 70's when the Bronx was burning and the notorious 44th precinct was the subject of a movie. This is a breath of fresh air!

With good weather it is absolutely beautiful and worth a visit. Oslo is more a typical Scandinavian capital, combining past, present and the future - such as Copnhagen and Stockholm. It has also some very romantic old districts but also the very modern business buildings at main station or the new opera.
It's not very scandinavian at all. It looks like istanbul. Completly overrun by thrid worlders.

Watching this from a third world country makes me sad because I am pretty sure India won't even come near to Norway in terms of cleanliness, civic sense, pollution control (including noise) etc in my lifetime. Nonetheless, Norway seems to be the God's own country to me. Beautiful and picturesque.

Probably at home or on the surrounding shopping malls and super markets. Locals are hardly in the city center these days. And yeah, Oslo is the biggest melting pot for third worlders in Europe. It's a shit show. But people are rising up in europe. We will have them thrown out eventually.
