THE ELEGANT LIFE IN A FRENCH VILLAGE
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a picturesque medieval village located in the south of France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. This is one of the oldest and most beautiful fortified villages in Provence, known for its rich history, artistic culture and picturesque landscapes.
Important information about Saint-Paul-de-Vence
1. *History:*
- *Foundation:* The village was founded in the 9th century, but became an important strategic and military point in the 16th century, when King François I ordered its fortification to protect the region from Spanish invasions.
