Selling your products whether its from home or at a fair is both a lot of fun and informative but also helps cover the costs of your beekeeping investments.
Nice video. What do you expect to gross? I'm a new beekeeper in Missouri and am paying anywhere from $50-100 to be in a craft fair. I'm doing sales of around $200-500. When I do $500, life's good but $200 I am wondering how can I get better? I don't have samples, different sizes, different types of honey.
Used to be, when I started if I did $200 in a $50 booth I would consider my day well spent. As I had more hives and my time became more valuable spent with bees I went to bigger fairs and not to the smallest ones. Now I will spend $200 per fair maybe $350 at some and sell $1500-$6000+ with more products and repeat customers.
Thank you Peter. You are the reason I started selling at craft sales.
