I only installed a new standard F23 repair kit on my Vectra B-i500. Now shifts quite precisely again!
But the main thing, in my opinion, is that Oil change with the right oil.
With CASTROL Transmax 75W-90 GL+4.
Filled up approx 1.75 Liter.
(PS: it's much better for shifting than the Syntrans Multivehicle 75W90 GL -4!!!)
It's unbelievable how the thing bolts through now!!
Even at minus temperatures, the f23 allows you to shift gears perfectly.

Just did this to my Zafira Gsi and the instructions are spot on! - the only thing I think worth adding (I might have missed this in a previous video) is that the plastic shifter surround needs modifying slightly to allow the short shift to work. This was really easy to do I just wish I'd have known before re assembly with nice fresh grease 😅. Thanks though, I wouldn't have attempted this if I hadn't seen your video 🙂

Hi Arron, how are you? I'm from Brazil. the manufacturer of Astra here is Chevrolet. it was produced here from 1995 to 2011. When Opel was sold to Chevrolet it added the Cruze in place.

Could you please give a little advice on putting the shifter back into the housing with the new bush on as I’m really struggling to get the round clip far enough down to be able to spin it and lock it in thanks.

I fitted a B&M shifter assembly other week, my gears feel a bit too notchy now, what’s best to do to sort this?
Can’t press the pin fully forwards as it doesn’t have the holes to lock it in place, I set the cables with it vertical and can select all gears without crunching but bit clunky

Yeah it reduces throw even more then the usual short shifter. The link to bushes are in description. Red gsi is slow going atm
