    Bit of a different one here. We decided to have some fun while in Detroit for AFPAC. Hopefully it can still give you guys a little bit of insight into exactly the types of people that were present at both conventions.
    Thanks again to everyone who agreed to an interview!

      The guy has a point though. The people which rule and control us are hardly the peak of physique and fitness, infact the very opposite in many cases, but they have the power and rule us nevertheless. You can work out and get strong and ripped all you want, you're still powerless compared to them at the end of the day. While I 100% support becoming the best version of yourself that you can be, physical and otherwise, to pretend that working out matters in our situation is pure cope. You're not going to beat the regime into submission. That is especially true as the nature of warfare has changed ever since guns came into the equation and is everchanging, with drones and AI technology now entering the equation. The supersoldier of the future is a nerd commanding entire swarms of AI-powered drones, not Rambo.
      Brains -> brawns, mind -> matter, and power -> strength. The chosenites understand this, which is why they rule you. People can keep lifting weights and pretending they have power all they want. Oxen are very strong, but they're still cattle. Physical strength is all well and good, but it is the lowest and weakest form of power. It ain't bodybuilders ruling the world. Try and go beat up Biden, or Putin, see how that works out for you. You'll find out the limits of your power very quickly.

Couple this with other necessary survival attributes and you have a functional tribe. Men throughout all of human history have been considered more manly the stronger they were. Conversely, they were considered less masculine if their strength was lacking. Now of course, one can say that no matter how strong you become, you are technically lacking in strength still - a glass half empty type of perspective. Nonetheless, the point still stands, especially considering that virtues (like strength) are ideals - there is a penultimate version which no human is capable of achieving, yet, what is within the bounds of our nature is to continually ascend toward such ideals.
      Women, however, have never been considered more or less womanly because of a lack (or a moderate possession of above average) strength.
      This concept is so fundamentally ingrained in our psyches that ancient cultures often considered manliness = courage and the strength necessary to exercise it.
      The Romans, for instance, developed the concept of "virtus." In its original meaning, the term translated to "manliness," or courage - martial valor, if you will, which necessitates a baseline of necessary strength to exercise said valor. This is interesting because the root word for "virtus" is the word "vir," which means "man." It was only later on in history that visits began to develop a broader meaning of more general virtues.
      The same goes for the Greeks. "Andros" being the term for "man," and "Andreia," like "virtus," meaning courage and the strength to back it up.
      Hope that helps.

      I mean realistically America is so far left and anti reactionary that we find normal human behavior evil reactionary behavior. Stalin thought America was a culture terror and too far left and in many ways the far left has been so successful in the culture that the crazy far right of today is a normal centrist man of the 1960s.

    3:00 The numbers from that study are combined strength from both hands e.g. 16-19 year olds had a combined grip strength of 187 lbs which would be roughly 93.5 lbs with one hand. An 140 lbs is an extremely high standard as you can see the 80th percentile for the strongest age group (30-39) only averaged 245.3 lbs (123 lbs per hand).

      Nick's point is that working out and being physically strong isn't a substitute for being strong and exhibiting fortitude in other areas of life. Yes, Nick is a weakling physically, but he is far stronger than any of the gym bros in the areas that actually count.

  • @Connection-Lost

    The grip strength data is WAY off. Simply look up some videos here on youtube, and you will see that the roughest, toughest ironworkers can only pull about 140-160 lbs on average. Still not convinced? Devon Laratt, the absolute top arm wrestler of all time didn't break 160 lbs. So no, your average 20-30 year old did not break 200lbs grip strength at any point in human history. Not even close, actually. THAT is why these people can't close a 140lb gripper. Because the data is horribly skewed.

    • @Connection-Lost
      @Connection-Lost Před 24 dny +11

      I should add that I own the grip tester AND hand grippers of 100, 150, 200 and 250. I can hit about 145lbs on the tester, and I can easily close the 150lb gripper. So you can see the testing is off no matter who does it.

    • @algorithmgeneratedanimegir1286
      @algorithmgeneratedanimegir1286 Před 24 dny +8

      Also hand size is important here. I have small hands so I can barely fit my hand around these grippers but everyone says I have a powerful grip.

    • @sukablat5938
      @sukablat5938 Před 24 dny +4

      There is no way that is true. I can close a 200 pound gripper and while it is difficult, if I actually consistently used the things or trained forearms I don't doubt I could eventually close the 300 pound ones I have. If Devon Laratt couldn't close above 160 he must have been extremely fatigued, because fatigue really affects grip strength.

      @agreen254 Před 24 dny +7

      Was looking for this comment. 210 lbs should be like 3 standard deviations above the mean.
      Edit: the data are COMBINED. So about 105 lbs per hand. That is accurate.
