There's a setup called infinite TST that's literally a loop that lets you clear nothing but T Spin Triples. Since TSTs clear more blocks than you place down, it's actually possible to keep going forever, and someone actually TASed Tetris DS to maxout using this, it takes 45 minutes of TAS-speed gameplay to get 100 million points by clearing over 2000 of them, so that should be enough of a proof you can actually do this forever if you know what you're doing: czcams.com/video/DvRnr-ZklqU/video.html
