I listened to this whole entire podcast today. Since I first started listening to Jocko a couple years ago I'd hoped these two would sit down. The raw emotion when Admiral Mcraven got choked up damn near brought me to tears. Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his brother.
I wonder why these videos don’t have more views... From my experience I used to listen more to Jocko and guests, but found his lessons were tough and hard to accept. But I’m back and I hope more to have the discipline to stay with it and keep applying this advice. I hope many do the same.

I think of all their sacrifices and compare it to those who don’t do anything but complain and wish they would be required to walk in the shoes of these brave men & women for 1 month and maybe just maybe some gratitude for all we have would shine through! As I write this another deployment to Afghanistan is under way to rescue those left behind. I pray for the safe return of all and the tribulations suffered are not more than we can handle! God bless the US military! They clean up the messes made by old foolish men!

Is there something like a female equivalent to Jocko? I've been watching the podcast for a few months now and it has really helped me turn my life around, so I also showed it to my girlfriend, who loved it and it has definitely helped her as well but I feel like there's a female rolemodel missing for her. I'm aware of the great women of history, so is my girlfriend, I'm more so talking about motivational speakers, people with podcasts or CZcams channels. Any direction y'all can give me is heavily appreciated
