  • When it’s time to clean your pet’s fountain, follow this step-by-step process to clean your fountain and replace the filter.
    Help your pet stay happy, healthy and hydrated with the PetSafe® Seaside Stainless Pet Fountain. The fountain uses a pump, carbon filter and foam filter that work together to remove pet hair, saliva and bad tastes from the water, so they always have clean water to drink. The stainless-steel fountain is made from high-quality materials that are hygienic, scratch-resistant and rust-resistant. When it is time to clean the fountain, place the stainless tower and bowl in the top shelf of your dishwasher and clean the pump by hand.

    Are we supposed to completely replace the carbon filter & foam filter every time we clean it?

    • @petsafebrand
      @petsafebrand  Před 9 měsíci +1

      While both filters are meant to be replaced, they would not necessarily need to be replaced each time you clean the fountain, this can vary from household to household. While we would suggest replacing the carbon filter every 3- 6 weeks in most cases, you can use your best judgment on when the filter looks as thought it is ready to be replaced. The pre filter on the other hand can be cleaned by rinsing it out, so you will more than likely notice you do not have to replace this filter as often as the carbon filter. Thank you for asking about this! We do recommend fully disassembling and cleaning both the fountain and pump every 1-2 weeks.

      @@petsafebrand do you recommend using the previous filter or change it every 1 to 2 weeks?

    I don't think any parts should be washed in a dishwasher; the chemicals used are too harsh. Best to wash by hand.

      Hi there! We totally understand this concern. It's important to note that most of the fountain parts are perfectly top-rack dishwasher safe and can be used with the same detergent used for the human dishes!

    Is it noisy?

    • @petsafebrand
      @petsafebrand  Před 4 lety

      Thank you for this question, Begoña! Though the sound of the pump and bubbling water may be audible to some customers, this is one of our quieter fountains, as it does not have a falling water feature.
