At first listening, I heard the peace, tranquility, and silence that others have commented on...so languid and sultry, even mystical. But on multiple listenings, and paying more attention to the later parts of the performance, I started to sense an intense yearning/longing/striving for a higher level of...what? existence/mind/love?...almost heartbreaking. Beautiful! This performance has become my touchstone for what the bansuri can sound like!

The banusir you actually play is not the one pictured, but a fairly standard bansuri in E. Misleading, but beautiful playing. I'd like to hear recordings of the actual huge bansuri.

The smaller one is a E base and the bigger one is A shank. To start learning a C medium is good and I recommend Subhash Thakur flutes which I use also there are other good bansuri makers also.

@@foilproxiesrus197 sure. Looking forward to meet you. The background sound is the drone instrument called Tanpura which is played from a app. You will hear this in all Indian Classical presentations.
