Just FYI that these were not just any backup dancers. They are all very well respected dancers and choreographeres in the US dance scene. Brian Puspos has choreographed for BTS multiple times before, and the dance itself was choreographed mainly by a legendary choreographer - Keone Madrid.

Jungkook pays MJ homage... it doesn't diminish MJ or JK. They are the GOLD standard, not these people complaining about a recognizable adoration, JK has for MJ, all the way to the jacket. Newbies with Romeo & Juliet, don't make sense unless Juliet is ARMY. Just give the man full props and stop attributing everything he does to someone else... then claim how talented he is. Whatever sample is used... no one is innovative to incorporate past vids into their choreo like BTS and OG ARMY understands this better than anyone.

Jungkook’s promotions for his album GOLDEN is really amazing. He did Good Morning America, Jimmy Falon, iHeart Radio, Audacity, TSX Stage Time Square NYC, Mnet comeback countdown, Golden Stage Live on Weaverse….. I don’t know if I missed anything. My favorites are TSX Time Square and the Weaverse Stage. I think I was just staring and amazed through the whole performance.
There is a behind the scenes of the mv shoot as well as live performances. So many but obviously iHeartRadio (he’s alone with a band, great to concentrate on vocals), Jimmy Fallon’s show - see the choreography performance as it’s supposed to be seen, for extra songs from “Golden”, his live performances on Audacy Music and Calvin Klein TSX, Times Square, performance.

7:09 the video is actually based on the Romeo and Juliet movie from like the 90s lol the fight scene is directly fringe movie, even this stage was identical to the one in the movie the fight happened… the limos bc they’re from wealthy families but the lyrics say that nobody will break them apart like Romeo and Juliet… so he’s saying it doesn’t matter for him… the director explained this and called him her Romeo . Even the wings are from the movie bc the first time you see Juliet she’s wearing them… it’s really well done
His album golden is breaking records and not to mention his song seven went platinum for reaching 1 billion streams on Spotify.
the video director stated that the video itself pays homage to the 1996 version of Romeo and Juliet. Which you can see some visuals from the movie on this set. The lyrics also fit that theme.
JK is delivering a lot in all his solos, each one is fantastic 💜
You guys touched on some of the elementsalready such as a clear reference to MJ. There are also ties to "Black Swan" as well as "Smooth Criminal" and the dance break was clearly from "Thriller". I believe there is an underlying theme that reminds me a bito "Romeo & Juliet" as well. I don't think it's a stretch to look at this as a homage to M.J. Great reaction. Take care.

I cannot say for sure what a lot of the solo songs on the solo albums of BTS members are about. But as a group BTS is not saying about women or romances it sounds like that it's a song for or about their fan's army. Listen to the lyrics and read the lyrics in this song it could be him talking to army before he enlisted in the South Korean military which he may do before the end of the year or maybe in may of 2024 if he's going to be discharged by late 2025 when BTS is supposed to reunite as a group.

Michael Jackson also did numerous covers of rock and roll songs from the 50s like Rockan Robin. Jungkook already said that his album golden has multiple genres in the songs. This is obviously a funk disco song not a pop song. seven and 3D were pop/rock. Basically, he could be following in the steps of all seven members of BTS since BTS does rock, jazz, hip hop, rap, EDM, Latin pop, blues plus many other genres. maybe you haven't noticed that the different members of BTS in their solo albums have done different genres. obviously Agust D did rap, hip hop. Who did jazz on his album because he is a big fan of jazz, he plays the trumpet and clarinet.
