- Tropical Storm Alberto has formed in the Gulf of Mexico, becoming the first named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. Michael Brennan at the National Hurricane Center joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow with the latest track. Tropical Storm Alberto didn't make landfall in Texas, but continues to blast Texas with heavy rain and high wind gusts.
Where is Tropical Storm Alberto headed? The storm system is located in the western Gulf of Mexico, about 295 miles southeast of Brownsville, Texas.

Lately, I find myself turning on my do not disturb from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. And sleeping like it is the '90s.
I find it funny how news media outlets are surprised a storm forms shortly after the season begins. That is why there is a beginning to the season and an end. However storms have formed before and after those dates. Keep your panties on.

It is raining here at home in texas, why do they hype everything ?
Because it just flooded that whole spot and it wasn't even called an actual hurricane yet -_- I mean Florida's used to it, hell, it's only scary when it's higher than Cat 3, but the worst ones don't usually get here until around August
