Great reaction! As you already have figured out NF links many of his past, and future projects together. Seamlessly weaving his life story together for his fans. Outcast starts off with "Woke up in a cell, where am I at? Nate isn't asking himself where he is. He is posing the question to his fans. Only fans that have followed the journey will know the answer. In How Could You Leave Us, NF says... "They say pain is a prison, let me out of my cell." So in Outcast when he says "woke up in a cell, where am I at?" What he is actually saying is that he woke up in pain. "Doors locked, but the keys are in my hand." Nate knows he already holds the keys to his own healing. Which is his family, friends, fans, and music. But, even though he knows those things are in his grasp... he still feels trapped. Nate also knows that his pain causes fans to connect to him. So, in a twisted way, he has grown to love his pain. "Sing along to the pain, they love it." Keep up with the fire reactions! Cheers!
NF is Legendary
Just to help with some clarification, Outro was a single that came out before Perception. Its purpose was to wrap up his first two albums. Because it was single it was just added to the end of Perception to keep it on an album. So not technically the end of the Perception album story wise. Another great reaction! 🔥

He doesn’t like being around people l. He’d rather be by himself so he keeps himself in the cage to feel safe. That’s why they are coming in to the cell instead of him going out
And the fake smile is his stage alter ego because people always say he’s sad or needs to smile more so he paints a smile on so they shut up

First time viewer here... Enjoying the reactions, keep up the good work! How have you not reacted to CLOUDS yet???!!! If you like NF, you should check out Tom MacDonald... "I Hate Hip-Hop", "Cancelled", "Don't Look Down" (7+ minutes of straight bars), etc... But maybe start with the Tom MacDonald vs. Mac Lethal battle. There are three videos in all, two from Tom and one from Mac.

A lot of us told you that every song gets better from here on out. He just doesn't miss. He has OCD and is a self proclaimed perfectionist so I guess what else would we expect? Some of the songs may not be your "taste", but you still have to admit that his worst song is way better than a lot of these popular artists best songs. That is saying a lot about this man. Following this journey with you! Enjoy!!

The thing I always see in the video and the song ...just tell me that the cage is the music.."bars" and the fans know how to get into it. We are going to be there with him as an outcast as well...at least if you are a fan.
