That was so relaxing I can’t believe it! ASMR Typing on the SMOOTHEST Keyboard!!
It's nice to see something cheap and clean, good work
I've used this keyboard too. Very impressive build quality and decent features, especially when compared to more expensive keyboards.
Will shine through keycaps work as intended with this keyboard? I mean does the light of the switches face upwards so that can bright up the font if you change with shinethrough keycaps?
@@mike_nba yes. As long as you have transparent switches.
@@mike_nba in fact the alternate color keycaps (keychain colors) for this board are shinethrough. You can buy them separately from vissles or they come with the board instead of the whites if you opt for grateron switches when you buy.
Great Review, you covered everything!
I've had this keyboard for nearly 2 months and i love it! Sounds and feels amazing stock! I also got very well lubed stabs wich feel so nice!
Now I'm planning to do some mods and try some other switches and get that delicious Thock.
Glad you like it! What switches are you thinking of swapping in?
@@9to5toys I'm actually really struggling because of pricing and shipping to Europe, but I'm looking for some heavier Linears than The stock VS II as they are a bit lite for me but i can see past the lite Actuation force if they sound really good etc. I also wanna get some really good stock switches so that would be a plus.
Right now I'm mainly looking at these:
- Tealio V2
-Akko x TTC Princess (very lite tho..)
-Akko x TTC Demon
-Gateron CJ
-Prevail Epsilon
-Cannon keys Lavender
-C³EQUALZ X TKC BANANA SPLIT
-WS Onion Switch
Some honorable mentions that I'm just unsure about are the Gateron INKs, Aqua kings, NK Cream, Matcha green, and the Akko Jelly collection.
If you have any advice or suggestions that would help land me on something I would love to thear them!
They are confirmed prelubed linear switches which is unreal at this price point. Mediocre stabs is pretty standard for keyboards at this price but easily remedied with a minimal mods/lube. Just ordered mine.
How is it? :)
Is the Pro version with the VS II switches the upgraded Version of yours? The one regular V2 is sold out
Hi can you review the nuphy 75 please
Can you review UniComp's new M/ Mini M?
To be honest, I bought this keyboard because of this video. Only difference mine is brown switches with black keycaps (ABS). Feels like slightly louder, but sound wise pretty same.
First mechanical kb after using membrane for decade. Its has different feel, but not like gamechanger for me.
Still I like it so far. For future definitely I will try get some PBT keycaps.
is the keyboard aluminum
Does this work well with ASA keycaps?
What are the rubberized pads for?
I am probably buying this keyboard! I have one question tho: can you set white static lighting without the software installed?
Did you order the keyboard/find an answer to this? Im wondering as well.
@@bradenbackes9272 yes you can: there are some color presets and you can switch between them easily. I ended up using it with no light anyway, as the white is a bit pinkish
Mine just arrived today. The VSII switches are a bit too soft for me but it is luckily hot-swappable. Despite the switches I did like the sound of it and the keycaps seem to absorb sound and make it extra thocky
is it plastic??? the board
@@ryderrowland6951 yeah pretty sure its an all plastic build but ive heard its pretty solid
I have this with the blue switches. It's .... ok at best. Battery is abysmal with RGB. Pairing with 2 machines wasn't working. Apparently that has now been fixed. I emailed and they instructed me on how to update the firmware. For the price it's not bad. I'd probably save a bit longer and get something a bit better. I may change the switches to something different. At least that's an option.
I’m going to use this to bye a keyboard for my brother
Can i use tangerines on this board?
I'm convinced to making this my 1st Mechanical Keyboard. Hopefully, the Bluetooth isn't bad, though it wouldn't be a deal-breaker.
you can use it wired i believe.
@@faer1esoiree I’m trying to go wireless. I wanna cut down wires due to my setup. Thanks for the info though
I’ve mod it and it sounds better than some 400$ kb here in démo (much more creamy than you), absolutely GREAT and solid ! totally agre with you.
would hyper x pudding keycaps be able to go on this keyboard?
Yes
Does the app work good on windows or mac? You didn't talk about it.
Ah, looks like it just works on Windows but you can also record macros directly on the keyboard.
So it seems this keyboard has Cherry profile keycaps, but how do the keycaps not suffer from interference with the north facing switches? I am confused, do any kbd enthusiasts know why this is so?
The reason why there is no interference must be due to the thickness or more specifically, the lack of thickness of the keycaps. Only thiccer cherry profile keycaps will have an interference with north facing switches. I also think the board comes with OEM profile keycaps, but I could be wrong
This is rk84 without the 2.4ghz connectivity...?🤔
well it just has a better aesthetic and overall look, although its subjective, and with better switches and wrist rest. the rk84 isnt far behind but if you get this on sale for under 100usd its a steal
Is this a rk84 clone, looks the same
i was just looking for a 75%
This is the way.
Good but Akko 3084 pro sounded way better stock and is less expensive.
This looks a lot like the ROYAL KLUDGE RK84. Anyone has both and can make a short comparison in the comments section?
Was thinking the same thing--Vissles just sent me one of these, so I'mma do a side-by-side!
Anybody have experience gaming with this keyboard? Is it good for gaming?
how much does it weight?
824g
@@9to5toys not heavy enough. Must be on the low end.
Wait a minute did i just find a pre built keyboard that has actualy OK👌 stabs
No. These stabs are not ok but wish they were, would be an instant buy no questions asked
I think its rebranding of royal kludge rk84
Its legit an entirely different brand
Want a cheaper keyboard that literally looked like this? Just buy royal kludge rk84, it's $10 cheaper, and it has more connection feature, after all RK84 is a twin and a buffed version of this keyboard. Thanks me later 😂
Idk i got the rk84 before and it was rattling a lot. It got me angry quite quickly and i had to change it. Had this Vissles V84 for half a year now and I must say this is a really nice keyboard for beginners in the mechanical keyboard community. I use the VS II linear switches and they sound amazing but u do have to get used to pressing lighter on the keys. After 6 months ive decided to get black ink v2 switches lubed to make my experience better and perhaps upgrade the stabs too. Again, a really good beginner keyboard to mechanical keyboard fans. Easy to customise and looks good. This is the 2nd mechanical Keyboard too and is a really big set up from my previous one (corsair k63 with cherry mx red switches!)
