Tilder Moyo-Karizamimba is a Zimbabwean radio personality who is well known for tackling sensitive social issues. She made a name for herself at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC)'s Radio Zimbabwe where she hosted a no-holds barred Sunday morning talk show which touched on various social issues. Some of the controversial issues that the programme has dealt with include those of satanists, child prostitutes, victims of rape and business people who use juju to enrich themselves. It was a phone-in programme and many a times perpetrators and victims called in airing their views and experiences making it worthwhile for the audiences to tune in. This case makes our Judicial system look like a Joke. The Bindura Judge looks like he had a mental fart whilst presiding and giving a verdict on this case.
Having said that, the retelling of this story left me with a few unanswered questions.
Judge Bhira why is this guy rotting in Jail for six years?
How old is Tendai Zuze? Sex with a minor case?
If She is not a minor , was there consent?
Is having sex which does away with someone`s virginity a criminal act in Guruve/Bindura?
Is a Cheating Scandal also a criminal act?
Was Mr Shane really arrested for a cheating scandal or refusing to play football for the ZRP football team?
I do not have any legal expertise, but I am left with many questions with this case.
