HUGE DISCLAIMER: Do not let this video discourage you from applying to UPenn. The admissions committee is EXTREMELY holistic at Penn and considers so many other factors besides a DAT score. My classes average DAT score was a 23AA and considering many of my classmates are in the 25AA+ range, it shows UPenn accepts scores below our 23AA average. Kathleen actually got accepted and offered a $10,000/year dean’s scholarship at UPenn with a 20AA!!

Hey! I personally studied for 7 weeks and used bootcamp to study, however, most people study for around 10-12 weeks. I scored a 23AA 24TS and honestly believed it was an amazing resource to use. The tutors are engaging, the practice exams prepare you well, and the high-yield notes are a must read before the exam. They also update their program regularly to keep up with the latest trends seen on the DAT. I would highly recommend it! Hi! The DAT is an abbreviation for the Dental Admissions Test. It is an entrance exam similar to the MCAT for med students comprised of science, math, reading, and perceptual ability questions designed to be a measure of your success in dental school.
