The magnesium hangars will break incredibly quickly if you grind them on pool coping at all, and take enough 3ft drops eventually you will start snapping bolts. Otherwise I fucking loved mine and it was hard to go back to standard trucks but I did after they wouldn't replace my hangar since the baseplate only supports their specific shape hangar.
Its all feel. Mate loves his, they definitely break easier as he has been through a few now but cant go back. He loves how they fell on rails, landings and popping
I have these on my board. Bamboo/maple deck, Avenue suspension trucks and Ricta Cloud wheels. It makes riding over crappy asphalt feel a lot closer to a longboard with a smoother ride and better momentum. It does have a lot of pop and a softer landing which feels nice and more buoyant, however familiar flips can feel weird to pull off compared to a more standard setup.
Can confirm. I ride my trucks loose as hell and do a lot of big gaps, these things bite like a mf and aren’t the most sturdy. Are pretty light tho. If you’re not doing anything too heavy they’re not bad. I ride tensor lows tho so I’m used to getting a little wheel bite, the suspension truck’s definitely make it bite harder but I’d say it’s just as often.
@@DiversedBegal22 I’ve been running the Rodney Mullen tensors for years. You know how skate shit is, stuff stops getting made after a while and something new replaces it. @@d0m1n1cc you fr? My buddy Willy is struggling with ketamine addiction and sold his skateboard to a pawn shop just the other night in order to get another gram off big man penile.
Love them and have been skating them for years. If you like street skating these are the trucks for you. They look nice, ride beautifully, and you can get some crazy pop. They are pricy but they last and can take a beating. You won’t have to worry about the bend breaking. When I say I put these things through the ringer I put them through it. I also got the 2.0 and their lighter then the original and look great.
I feel like they’d be better for travel, not as much for use in a skate park or something. I’d take muscle memory and consistency over comfort if I wanna do tricks and stuff but these look like a lifesaver for just getting around
Dang those look sick but ima have to stick with the original ones the suspense ones with give you to much wheel bite and you will get called out for “cheating”
They've got spring loaded regular 6-in trucks also. A couple E-skatets in my FB group have them. There are like pkp, but it's actually an rkp with an extra mechanism that has shocks.
I remember when avenue was just a kickstarter. I ended up getting them a few years ago and I dont think I could ever go back. They are insanely smooth, fast, and honestly help ease impact a ton. I would highly recommend them.
Oh wow ! I would think you'd get less pop . I honestly had been thinking about this concept for a while specifically to do with the trucks having some kind of shocks suspension to help with impact but I thought it might slow you way down but it looks like it works great
I feel like these are a good idea in concept but I can see them possibly bending over time and needing to be replaced more often. I’m used to skating the same pair of trucks for 5+ years because they are durable as hell
Yeah i bought a few sets of the suspension trucks like 4 years ago ish. Theyre pretty good but the pop is actually lesser because as you push the lip down the suspension compresses a bit and absorbs some of the force
Brought a set of the version 1s about 6 years ago and illd still say these are some of the best trucks I've ever rode would love to get another set again 😂
Finally a skateboard update, suspensions, now its not just sandpaper on wood with wheels(this is sarcastic btw i like his content alothe's pretty wholesome)
If anyone didn't know those yellow bumps that you see places like sidewalks, or in front of Walmart or wherever are meant for blind people to feel when they're coming up to a street or parking lot. Just a warning
I have them, and they are perfect for cruising downhill. Even shitty concrete with a time slope will have you rolling without much effort, and you don't feel almost anything. I'm told that normally get wheel bite, but I use the Andy Anderson board, and it's only happened once

Yeah I think these are more designed for travel than tricks
Yeaaa gonna assume these aren't meant to be grinded...
I figured some kind of durability would be the tradeoff.
Sounds perfect for longboarding, rather than a normal skateboard.
@@AliceJLiddellOr traditional skateboard but throw some fat wheels on it and these trucks.. Better penny board🔥

It was their ability to cruise past the yellow bumps that sold me on them
